2 The Concert

The concert hall was full to the brim with young couples, and it was expected since it was Valentine's day after all. Most of them kept screaming wildly while the others clapped excitedly as they watched their favorite idol perform. Although this was the biggest concert hall in town, but every space was filled up. The music was loud, the hall was crowded from the inside one could literally faint due to poor ventilation.

Justin Bieber was performing on stage, he happened to be Ella's favorite hip-hop artist.

He was a popular hip-hop artist with a large fan base across the world. He was invited by his loyal fans in San Francisco to perform for them on valentine day.

"You're enjoying the show, right?" Ella asked Ashley breathlessly as she took out her hankie to wipe the sweat from her face. The place was just as hot as it was tight. She could only clean the sweat on her face while her dress drenched in her sweat.

"I didn't expect it to be this good, but I'm having the time of my life!" She responded as she swayed her body to the tune of the music. Despite the fact that they had gotten their tickets on time, they were standing at the far end of the hall since all the seats had been occupied by more devoted fans who had come in hours before the show time.

"How are you feeling now? Better?" Ashley asked Ella as she placed her hands over her shoulders.

"Yeah, much better. You know good music always makes me feel good." Ella said with a grin.

She swayed her body to the rhythm of the music as she sang along to the song that was currently playing.

"Good. Why isn't Dan here yet? I hope he doesn't want to come here after the concert must have ended." Ashley muttered to herself as she looked around for her boyfriend. She had gotten four tickets, for herself, Ella, and her boyfriend, who she had asked to come with a plus one for Ella who was single to stupor.

"You know Danny. Maybe something came up." Ella said with a shrug.

"Then he should have called… Talk about the devil." Ashley said when her phone started vibrating and she took it out to see it was a call from Daniel. She said cheerfully seeing his name on her phone screen.

"I have to take his call. Keep my spot." Ashley told Ella as she took the call while heading outside the hall.

"I'm coming with you. If I stay in here for one more minute I might pass out." Ella said as she followed Ashley out.

"Hey babe!" Daniel greeted from the other end of the line, "We just arrived and we're outside, can you come out please?"

"We are outside already," she said turning her head left and right to search for him. "Flash your headlight twice so we know where you are." Ashley responded as they waded through the crowd gathered outside the hall.

She saw his flashlight and headed in their direction, "What took you so long?" She asked with a pout immediately she got to where their car was parked.

"I'm innocent. He delayed me." Daniel said cocking his thumb in his friend's direction as he put on an innocent smile.

She looked in the direction he pointed and smiled when she noticed his friend. She observed their outfits, both guys wore shorts and vintage shirts. Daniel left the first two buttons of his shirt unbuttoned. He has always had a great sense of fashion, one of the many things that had attracted her to him. She thought to herself feeling so proud of her boyfriend. His curly hair and pink lips accentuated his handsome looks.

"Hey shawty!" Daniel said to Ella who was standing away from them. He noticed how she was quiet all this while just looking at them.

"Danny boy!" Ella said with a grin as she moved closer to playfully punch his shoulder as she always did whenever he called her that.

They all exchanged pleasantries and Daniel introduced William to Ella before turning to give Ashley a kiss.

He gently placed his arms around her waist and stared into her eyes wide eyed. Then gave her a quick kiss.

"Jeez! Get a room!" Ella said playfully as they all walked towards the concert hall.

"You're just single and jealous! You're lucky I brought you a boyfriend. You can kiss him if you want to, he won't mind." Daniel called back as he held hands with Ashley and they walked ahead of Ella and Williams.

He sounded serious but they all knew it was a joke, he just wanted to intimate Ella a little.

"Pffft! You wish!" Ella called back with a giggle. She couldn't help admiring how cute Ashley and Daniel looked together.
