13 Her beauty was stunning...it can't be lust?

"What's wrong with you?" Janice winced, trying to free her hand but his grip was firm.

"Jayden, stop that," Ashley couldn't keep quiet anymore, she decided to speak. "You shouldn't embarrass her in such a manner." She chided but he paid deaf ears to her and dragged Janice out of the shop.

"What type of man is he?" Ashley soliloquized. "No respect at all for her, and they plan to get married in one month? How would Janice survive with such an abusive man?" She grimaced and walked towards her office. It was a small corner in the shop for her to seat and relax when she was not inspecting her goods.

Ella flagged a taxi to take her to the nearest train station. She boarded a train since the address was quite far from the bakery shop. The train stopped at its station then she took another taxi to Williams' house.

The taxi stopped in front of a daisy white building with a sloping roof. The bungalow stood magnificently in the wide expanse of land covered in carpet grass. Flowers were planted to form a short fence.

She stood in the scorching sun for about a minute admiring the bungalow. Although it wasn't big it had attractive flowers that appealed to the eyes.

Ella gave him a call to inform him of her arrival. He asked for a minute and he would be out, so she looked around and saw a black Toyota Camry parked in the garage by the side of the house. She got tired after standing up to five minutes and decided to knock on the door to make him hasten up.

She was about knocking the second time when the door opened. William had hurriedly got out of the shower and wore a black top and trousers with his brown hair asleep and dripping water.

He stood by the door lost in admiration scanning her outfit from head to toe.

Ella was dressed in a very simple manner so she wondered why he was looking at her like she wore royal attire. She suppressed a blush.

"Hello?" She flicked her hands, bringing him back to reality.

"Oh…Ella," Williams stuttered "sorry about that," he said smirking.

She giggled while blushing. "You always do that when you see me," she said.

"You can't blame me for that," he said with a light chuckle. "Who wouldn't drool over your beauty?" He teased and observed her blonde ponytail hair which complimented the makeup she applied on her face. She was stunning in his eyes.

"You look extra beautiful today," he said, catching a glimpse of her hazel eyes before she immediately looked down and said thank you.

She had become shy and mentally facepalmed herself. Deep down, she was attracted to him as well. His dark skin glowed and his 6'0ft height gave her butterflies in her stomach whenever he came close. He was exactly her spec and she couldn't have been more glad.

"Come in," Williams said, opening the door widely.

"What do I offer you?" He asked politely as he gestured her to sit on the sofa.

"Water will be fine, I need to quench my thirst. The sun has been fierce these days." Ella cried.

"Give me a minute," Williams asked and walked towards the refrigerator which was in the dining. He appeared with a small tray containing bottled water and placed it on the table before her.

"Thank you." Ella shot him a smile before opening the bottle and gulping it down. William watched calmly.

"So when would we go to see the CEO of that record label?"

"Hold on, let me give him a call."

Williams went into his room and searched for his phone but it wasn't there. He stood in frustration as he tried to remember where he kept it. After minutes of racking his brain, he went to the bathroom and found it resting on the lavatory basin.

He rushed back into the living room, not wanting to keep her waiting for too long. Williams dialed Henry's number twice before he picked.

Henry usually kept his phones in the custody of his P.A during work, so she had to rush to Henry.

"Sir, you have a call from William," she stood as she awaited his response.

"Okay. Hand me the phone," he said with stretched hands.

"Hey bro, what's up?" William said taking his seat close to Ella.

"I'm good, what's up?" he asked in return.

"Just a little busy here with work," he said lifting a document as if William would see it.

"Hope you won't be too busy to attend to me? I'd like to come to your office with the artist we talked about the other day."

"Ohhh," he said trying to remember. "Yeah, that's right. You can come over" he said with a little smile on his face.

"Okay, thank you," William said ending the call.

Henry gave his phone back to his P.A to hold, he didn't want to get distracted with his phones close to him. She took the phone and went out of the office, and Henry went back to what he was doing before.

"He said we could come," William said smiling at Ella.

Ella squealed in excitement; she couldn't contain her happiness and she opened her arms to embrace William as they sat close. "Thank you," she said feeling very grateful to William.

"Oh don't mention," he said holding her left hand after they released from the hug, he stared into her eyes. This time she didn't look away. He held her hand unconsciously, he never knew why he got so attracted to her. Her beauty was stunning but it still marveled him how in love he was with her. It was not even close to lust.
