12 He created a scene

"It's no problem. What would you like" Ashley said enthusiastically.

"I would like a giant two-tier cake, chocolate frosting, white lace icing, one layer white the other chocolate, and I would want some toppings of strawberries on it." Janice listed.

As she said, Ashley jotted it down and passed the paper to her worker standing close to her.

Janice requested cupcakes too and her fiancé asked a staff to package a box of chocolate cupcakes and headed to the cashier to make payments.

The staff said asked him to fill a form, providing details of the delivery date and their phone numbers, of which he did.

Janice followed Ashley to meet Ella who Ashley had talked about as her best friend. Looking in the direction Ashley pointed, she saw a lady who was busy on her phone.

Janice and Ella exchange pleasantries as she sat with them.

"Hi I'm Janice," she said stretching her hands out to shake.

"I'm Ella," stretching her hands to receive the handshake. "Ash told me a little about you before she left to meet you".

Then they starting conversing.

"When is the wedding," Ella asked Janice who talked cheerily like they had known been friends for ages.

Ella's phone started vibrating. She glanced at it and saw the call was from William. The call she has been waiting for all day. It was already noon. Her heart skipped a beat before she swiped her phone to receive the call.

"Please excuse me," she said before accepting the call. So the ladies lowered their voices to continued their conversation while Ella received her call.

"Hello." she greeted.

"Hey, Ella. I'm less busy now. I just rounded up my role for today and I'm on my way home. He remembered Ella had not been to his place before and added that he would text her his address after the call.

"Okay, I'll come over right away she said doodling on the table while she spoke on phone. Then she disconnected the call.

William was driving when he called her and sent her a text of his home address immediately after the call ended.

"Sorry girls," Ella apologized. "Ash, it's William, I'll be leaving you girls soon." She said with an expression on her face that said she wished she could stay.

"Where are you going," Janice asked wanting to know. "To see a friend," Ella replied bluntly.

They returned to their conversation

"In a Month, we just want to make bookings for the necessary items before that day to avoid disappointments and all," Janice spoke excitedly.

Janice had brown skin and a diastema that enhanced her beauty whenever she smiled, and she was usually always smiling. She was 5'6ft, slightly taller than Ella and Ashley.

"Baby, can we go now?" Jayden asked walking in their direction.

"Yeah sure," she replied handing her phone to Ashley. "Please input your number on my phone, I'd like to keep in touch," she said.

When Ashley was done she handed the phone back to Janice, Janice gave it to Ella.

"Hey new friend, hope you don't mind?"

Her fiancé was standing waiting patiently for her to be done so they'd go.

"Yeah no problem," Ella said smiling.

"I hope to see both of you at my wedding," Janice was all smiles.

"Yeah definitely, I'd come with Ash."

"That'd be great." She said standing up. "Ash, we'd talk later" then she paused to face Janice. "It was nice meeting you," Ella said grinning.

"Bye girls!" she said turning around and walking out of the shop.

Jayden had gone to sit on a seat in the café going through his social media to pass time. He was slightly pissed but didn't want to create a scene in public. He lifted his gaze from his phone when he saw Ella walking out of the shop.

"Why would she intentionally keep me waiting," he said angrily.

Getting up from his seat, he walked to his fiancée and yelled at her. "Get up let's go now!" He roared.

"Baby, give me a minute." She pleaded in a forced tone.

"Get up now before I do something we both would regret." He yelled again, fuming in anger.

Ashley looked at him amazed at his behavior just now. Although she kept quiet not wanting to involve herself since she didn't know Jayden.

Janice still sat down looking at him "I don't understand why you're so pissed." She said, her voice slightly raised.

The couple had drawn the attention of everyone in the shop to their direction. The staffs that worked there began to question themselves. "What is the reason for their fight? Some blamed the lady for delaying the man this long. Some blamed the man for being disrespectful and impatient.

Her question angered him the more.

He held her wrist forcefully dragging her up from her seat.
