16 Chapter 13 - Aftermath-Afternoon part1
I turned around to look at her closer.
"Khana!?"
Who's Khana you'll ask? It's Livia's blood cousin, four years older than Livia. Khana is from Livias' mother's side of her sister. Her hair is tied up in a ponytail gives a bit of a mature aura but adding the tighten police uniform just splats more of an aura. Since I did know her as well long before I started dating Livia so from over the years spent with her; I generated a small crush on her, however, let's just say that crush is faded. I love Livia and only Livia. But back to Khana don't get me started on her bre-.

"Yeah, it's been 1….2. Years, I think?"
Khana has been training to become a full-fledged officer, at the moment she is in cadet school I'm guessing 2 more years till she completes it.
"Well, yeah what did you need from me?"
"Your statement, please"
I started from the start about what the man was doing, then she asked for facial features and whatnot. About 30 minutes later I finished up giving her my statement then she left, she gave me her number again for the 5th time since she changes numbers often, I have no clue why maybe I'll ask her.
I leave the premise before media sees me I really don't want my face anywhere, I get stopped by someone again.
"Hey! Umm I'm sorry if I disturbing you but I just wanted to thank you"
Huh… what did I do?, I'll just go with it.
"Uhh… your welcome I think I'm not sure what I did that was praiseworthy"
"Oh you don't be so humble, you saved my employees"
"Oh it was nothing the cops did more, all I did is charge *at him and disarm him, oh and nice thinking with a glass cup"
"Oh hahaha, oh I forgot to introduce my self my name is Maya"
She holds her hands out going in for a handshake
"Nice to meet you mine is Ryan"
We chat for a few minutes, then she gives me her number, to be honest, It would be rude to refuse so I just took it. And she said she wanted to go out with lunch later maybe I'll take her up on that if I survive this FUCKING DAMN SYSTEM!!!
I restarted my jog to the Pitzer district and jogged the 20 minutes, I arrived at a park near the river area, a nice scenery to go on a date with Livia, she'll like it.
I sit down and let the scenery soak in for a bit, I hear kids playing at a playground
"Big Broo!!! Big Brooo!! Waah"
I walk up to a blonde twin-tail little girl, around probably 4-5 years old but I swear to god if cops come I'm going to be labeled as a lolicon, well lets quickly get this done.
I prepare my self to say in a light-toned voice
"Hey, are you okay? What's wrong?"
"Uhh sniff... sniff. Umm sniff I can't find big broo… sniff"-
I think carefully about my next move.
"Umm I'll help you look for your brother, do you know what he looks like or where he could be?"
"Sniff… he has short blonde hair like mine, an… an...sniff… he is eighteen. Today is my birthday and we went to go out for Yakisoba as a present for me. Sniff… I went and chase a pup an... sniff der know sniff I have gone sniff...
"Okay, let's go to the market place to look for your brother"
I lend out my hand, for her to grab hoping she trusts me and takes my hand. I feel a small hand on my palm.
We start walking around the marketplace for a few minutes looking for a brother, walking silently it starts to awkward so I think of something to ask her.
"How old do you turn today?"
"I turn six, years old today"
She smiles as she says that I was a little bit off but oh well. And she isn't crying which is good.
"What's your name?"
"Avery but everyone calls me Ava"
"Oh nice to meet you, Ava, my name is Ryan"
I said my name and she jitters for a second as she just remember something but of course I don't follow my theories.
"Well we've been walking for a while, so we should go sit down and take a break, want to get icecream as we wait for your brother?"
At the time, her eyes sparkled immediately as I said icecream.
"Icecream!! Yes! But wait I'm not supposed to eat ice cream before dinner, but I really want icecream"
"Hmm then do you wanna keep it a secret between you and me? My lips are sealed"
"Really!!! Yeah!!!"
She jumps up cutely, ahh fuck me too cute
really don't want to turn into a lolicon but she is just too cute to resist, I'm a little jealous of the brother who has such a cute sister.
A couple of minutes go by and we started eating ice cream at a nearby ice cream shop called "Celle Fum YummAyyy", she ordered a vanilla ice cream with chocolate sprinkles. While I ordered cookie dough in a small cup.
"Ava, do you love your brother?"
"mmM Jess!!, Father isn't here anymore so my brother takes care of me and mother by coding"
As she licks away the icecream, she shows a cheerful expression. The sun is out and giving off a radiating warmth even though it's supposed to be cold seems like today will be warm.
But what is this feeling in my gut, I can't get-
"Umm Ryan, I need to go to the bathroom, but I'm afraid to go alone"
"Okay, Umm…"
Fuck, what am I supposed to do…
"I'll wait for you outside, let us go"
We walk towards the back of the ice cream shop where there is a Female and Male bathroom, I let her go in, and I wait outside of the door.
"Ryan, you there?"
"Yess!"
I say loudly, with a voice of assurance.
A few minutes pass by and we are back at our table.
"Ava, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
"I want to help brother and mother, by being rich! Then we can have anything we want!"
She says in a cutesy voice, I can see in her eyes she genuinely wants to help. If only more kids had more ambition. She reminds me of Mina when she was a little girl; mina wanted to be a fairy to protect all of us, however when that incident happened everything started to grow Ink and bleach.
Currently, that Ink and bleach have been colored in and everything started to become better, but nope guess what? I.got.this.fucking.system.
"You know Ava, you are very cute"
"Ah… No… I'm not! Brother says I'm pretty!"
"Well then you are cute and pretty, just live with happiness"
"eeee .. mmmm…???"
at the same point, I tell her, she becomes embarrassed and confused.
