Chapter 1 : The arrival

"You've arrived, young lady, young master" the butler slightly bowed before a pair of teen.

"Butler Yun, long time no see. How's your day here?" the ponytail girl nodded and said as she walk forward.

"Same as always, young lady" the butler smiled respectfully.

"Ah, I'm finally here. I've listed the place I wanted to visit already. Ahhh I'm so excited!!" the ponytail girl looked around her before searching for something in her handbag.

"Stop it Xiao Ruo. We're going to the headquarters first remember?" the teen boy beside her reminded her.

BOOM

That sentence froze her and her hand stopped moving. Reluctantly, she answered "..Alright"

Getting in the car prepared for them, they set off to their destination. The young lady mentioned was Xu Zhiruo, and the young master was Xu Zhiruo's twin brother who was born a minute before her, Xu Zhixiu.

Soon, a tall skyscraper get into the view. It's the ShengXu Corporation building. ShengXu Corporation, second only to YR Corporation, is involved in many industries, such as real estate, hotels, entertainment industry, jewelry, shopping malls, and others.

Steping out of the car, butler Yun opened the door and lead them into the building.

"So this is what daddy's been doing all these year. It looks okay, but compared to the one back at MC island, it is truely lacking in lots of aspect." Xu Zhiruo mumbled and slightly shook her head.

Her statement made Xu Zhixiu's mouth twitch.

"Welcome, young lady Xu, young master Xu" the director came into the view and greet them respectfully.

"Hmm" Xu Zhixiu grunted, while she just nod.

"Let's go to the lounge, young master, young lady" the director gestured both of them to walk first.

Right outside of the VIP elevator, Xu Zhiruo pulled her twin's sleeve slightly.

"Xiuxiu, I think I better off surveying the building than bothering you guys talking."

Xu Zhixiu's mouth twitch slightly. This sister of his can really turned her shameless sentence into something really nice to hear.

"What surveying, you just wanted to roam around" he sneered at her.

Xu Zhirou just give him her best smile ever.

"Off you go then" he said lightly.

Just as the last word left his mouth, Xu Zhirou dashed off immediately. That's right, how could she sit down and listen to their endless chattering. She better go around the building as they talk.

Entering the normal elevator, she randomly pushed a button.

Just as the door was closing, someone pushed the elevator button.

As the elevator door opened, a young woman around her twenties and her assistant step into it.

"How's the situation at Director Ling's end?" the young woman seems to speak up to her assistant.

"Don't you worry about it sis Yiyi, you will definitely be the Female lead." the assistant assured the young woman called Yiyi.

Xu Zhiruo sneered inside as she heard their conversation but she has no intention to involve herself so she merely shook her head slightly.

Bai Yiyi has been glancing over Xu Zhiruo from the very first time she entered the elevator.

How can she, who presume herself above all, could accept the fact that the girl before her is younger and prettier than her.

'Is she some new rookie star? It can't be. She must be a lowly employee.' Bai Yiyi tought for a moment and then decided to show off that 'she's going to be the female lead' to her.

So when she saw Xu Zhiruo shook her head, she went red but keep to herself. Initially, she come here to meet the manager in charge of the Shengxu Ent. movie project so she did not want it to be messes up.

DING

The elevator reached the 16th floor, which was occupied by some higher ups of the Shengxu entertainment and those who managed it.

Each industries involved under ShengXu Corporation will have 3 higher ups of each chosen to work over at the headquarters. So in the headquarters building, the 16th floor represent the Shengxu Entertainment.

This way, the headquarters will keep up with each industries. That's why every industry under ShengXu Corporation was well managed and sucessful.

Bai Yiyi has been hugging the manager in-charged's leg that work over at the headquarters. She's been flattering her, licking her boots, and many more. The point is she has spent a lot of money on her so she will not let her emotion messed it up.

Bai Yiyi walked out in a proud manner followed by her assistant.

Xu Zhiruo exited the elevator after Bai Yiyi's duo. She looks around and decided to start from the right side.

The building is so small that after a few minutes self-tour, Xu Zhiruo cross path with Bai Yiyi again.

Bai Yiyi actually wanted to trip her but as she put her leg out, Xu Zhiruo stepped on it.

"Ahh" Bai Yiyi's heels has a shoe mark on it.

Yepp it belongs to Xu Zhiruo's converse. Actually, Xu Zhiruo did not do it on purpose. She has been wandering around without watching much, she has just been lucky for not tripped over by that leg.

"Ah, I'm sorry. I did not do it on purpose." Xu Zhiruo apologize to her.

"Nonsense, you must've do it on purpose. You're jealous of sis Yiyi for being so succesful" the assistant pointed at Xu Zhiruo.

"Sis Yiyi's heel was the Channel's newest edition. It cost for more than your annual salary. How do you wanted to compensate it"

Hearing that, she slightly frown. She was indeed clumsy, so she has used to apologize at people for her clumsiness.

However, she has never been mocked like that before. It was just a shoe mark on it, she can just wipe it off. Why make a fuss of it. Xu Zhiruo really don't understand them.

"I've already apologize, it was not on purpose. Moreover, the shoe mark could be wiped off."

"How can sis Yiyi's heels simply be wiped off! You had better compensate it, then we will consider it done" Bai Yiyi simple give a smile as she heard her assistant's word.

Xu Zhiruo was really lazy to accompany them any longer. She came here solely to have fun  but that daddy of hers just have to make her come to this headquarters of his. And now, she had to face this disgusting people.
