1- N E P H T H Y S

I find myself running down a never-ending alley for ages. I trip over a trash can stumbling back into a pile of trash bags "fuck" I speak with a raspy tone.

I look down at my leg it was broken somewhere and I hurt to stand. I had been hit over the head with something previously.

The blood runs down my face and leg as I pant heavily leaning my head back against the wall. I see the woman that was chasing me. She was slimly built with pale skin and purple long hair and wore glasses. I try to get up and stand I try to plead with her "please I can't move" tears and sweat running down my face as I grip the wall.

The woman with red hair has a sinister smile on her face as these tentacle-like arms grab me she spoke: "easier to kill you" ...

"Nephthys Nephthys..." Zander whispered as he shook the sleepy girl next to him.

Nerezza and Keres chuckled at the sight of the girl asleep on Zander His face was flushed with crimson all over his cheeks. He continued to shake you seeing as you were in Harts class. He didn't want her to get in trouble.

"n-no go away," she mumbled, letting your head fall on the freckled boy's shoulder. The night before you didn't get much sleep. Zander kept you up all night begging you to tutor him cause we failing potions.

The girl head jerked forward as Hart hit the desk with her hand. Waking her up with the quickness. Everyone at the table jumped including you. She quickly rubbed your eyes feeling a sense of being watched. Kenji and his friends laughing at you watching Harts action.

"Miss Evens if you are to pass my class you must learn to sleep on time and not sleep in my class!" Hart declared in a booming voice.

"Yes, professor-" she whispered but we're soon cut off by her yelling at the group laughing. "Quiet!" Hart sternly said to the students laughing. Hart continued to teach class walking away from the table.

"Why are you so sleepy Neph what happened last night?" Zander rubbed her back as he spoke his voice quiet but audible. "You kept me up helping you study arsehole you owe me one" you demand as you fix your loose curly black hair brushing it back with your hand. "Next time you could just say no Lee" Nerezza pled with you worried about your sleep.

"Don't worry ann I've got it under control" Nephthys smiled patting her hands reassuring her. "Class dismissed!" Hart let out the students everyone quickly rushed out of the room leaving you and Zander behind. "Sorry for falling asleep on you in class" you looked down at your feet as you walked alongside him heading towards the dorms.

"No, it's fine" Zander spoke with a small grin on his face as he put his hand on your chin lifting your face so your eyes meet it sent butterflies to your tummy. "Don't stare at your feet you'll bump into something and ill have to catch you" he let go of your chin as you both continued to walk you caught yourself staring at his face admiring the features on his face 'god why does he have to be so hot' .

you quickly caught your self seeing him glance your way he chuckled catching you staring "is there something on my face?" Zander touched his face in a panic. You laughed hitting his shoulder playfully "no you idiot!" .

When you both got to the dorms sitting room you sat together with Nerrezza and your friends. Kenji who was seating across the table from you also giving you dirty looks you just rolled your eyes looking away from him. Keres was laughing as you both sat down "what took you both so long making out on the way here" you kicked them from under the table. "Shut it Keres!" Your face flushed with red as you faced away from Zander.

The only people who knew about your long time crush for Zander was: Kenji who is actually your cousin, Keres your non binary best friend, Nerrezza your twin sister, and Luna Nephthys ex. Nephthys dated Luna in their freshman year at Uni didn't end well...

Nephthys fiddle with her mother's necklace around her neck before she spoke "I should say the same thing about you and Nerrezza" She raised her brows waiting for Keres to respond. Keres blushed pushing her hair behind her ear "I don't know what you're talking about".

Everyone at the table began to laugh, Nephthys looked over at Nerrezza his posture change clearing his throat "so Zander did you figure out how you're taking to the Party with" Nephthys looked at the boy next to her waiting for his answer "u-um I dunno yet" you giggled at his shyness he heard you giggle which made his face redder than usual.

Nerrezza broke the awkward silence the spoke with confidence "I have a date already!" You got excited bouncing in your seat "oh my goodness already you work face miss evens" She smiled "don't ask who it's a surprise" Keres laughed "yeah right 'surprise' my arse" Nephthys pokes fun at Keres "Aw some sounds jelly" Keres scoffed crossing their arms "I'm going to my room" Nephthys felt a little sorry "Keres I'm sorry" she said in a singing tone before rushing after her.
