~YOO'S RESIDENCE~

"WAKE UP YOUNG LADY! I HAVE SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO SAY TO YOU! ASAP!"

Yelled Willow as soon as she entered her eldest daughter's room. Yeonae groans as she stretched her body on her bed then takes a sit while rubbing her eyes.

"What is it eomma (mum)?"

Asked Yeonae to her mother while she's still rubbing her eyes.

"YOU ARE GROUNDED FOR A WHOLE WEEK! NO GADGETS! NO GOING OUT WITH HAYDEN AND DANICA! AND THE ONLY THING THAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS HOUSE ARE CHORES! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO, THEN FEEL FREE TO GET OUT OF HERE! YOU HEAR ME, YOUNG LADY?!"

Yelled Willow to Yeonae as she walks towards Yeonae's bedside table, took her phone and walks back towards the door.

"Mwo (What)?! Wae (Why)?! WHAT FOR?!"

Asked Yeonae to her mother, Willow. Her mother quickly holds the door knob and glares at Yeonae.

"FOR SEEING JAEHO IN JISUN-AH'S BIRTHDAY."

Answered Willow to her daughter, Yeonae. She continues to look at her mother with a trace of confusion and shock on her face.

"WHO TOLD ME? LEE JIHUN. HE CALLED ME LAST NIGHT. HE SAID THAT HE SAW YOU HUGGED JAEHO THAT NIGHT AND THAT BASTARD KISSED YOU! GOD! HOW DARE YOU?! HAVE YOU ALREADY FORGOTTEN WHAT HAPPENED FIVE YEARS AGO?! JAEHO ALMOST KILLED YOU! YOUR FATHER AND I CAN LET IT SLIDE IF YOU JUST GET AWAY WITH YOUR COUSIN HAYDEN AND YOUR FRIEND DANICA! BUT WITH JAEHO?! WHY!? IF I WERE YOUR FATHER, I'LL GROUND YOU FOR HALF A YEAR TO LEARN YOUR LESSON FOR THE LAST TIME!"

Said Willow furiously to Yeonae. A tear fell from Yeonae's left eye as she tightens her grip on her blanket while still looking at her mother.

"Lesson? What lesson? I don't need to learn a lesson from that accident, eomma (mum). But that Jihun do. He's the one who almost killed me five years ago. Jaeho was the one who's protecting me ever since the day we became friends. And I know that he won't let me get hurt. Ever."

Said Yeonae to her mother while her voice is trembling. Willow grips the door knob because of her anger while she's still looking at her eldest daughter. Another tear fell from Yeonae's eye as she stares at her mother.

"THERE YOU GO AGAIN! DEFENDING THAT DARN JAEHO AND TAKING HIS SIDE ONCE AGAIN! WHEN WILL YOU EVER LEARN?! FIVE YEARS HAD ALREADY PASSED AND YOU'RE STILL NOT TAKING JIHUN'S SIDE! WHAT DID YOU EVEN SEE IN THAT JAEHO?! HE'S JUST A FREAKING RICH TROUBLEMAKER!"

Yelled Willow again to her daughter as her grip on Yeonae's phone and on the door knob tightens. Yeonae finally cried.

"YOU'RE JUST SAYING THAT BECAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT! YOU DON'T EVEN FULLY KNEW JAEHO! AND SO IS THAT JIHUN! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW OBSESSED HE IS WHEN IT COMES TO ME! HE'S A PSYCHO!"

Yelled Yeonae to her mother while she's still crying and gripping her blanket. Willow tightens her grip again on the door knob then suddenly let go of it.

"Forget it. You never learn when it comes to that Jaeho and Jihun."

Said Willow as she walks out of Yeonae's room and slammed the door. Yeonae continued crying as she took a pillow beside her then hug it. A little while later, Yeonhun knocked at the door then enters Yeonae's room quietly.

"IS THERE A ROOM FOR ANOTHER PERSON?"

Asked Yeonhun to Yeonae who's hugging her pillow while she's still crying. Yeonhun felt sad for Yeonae as he walks towards her bed then sat beside her. Yeonhun then caressed Yeonae's back to comfort her while looking at her with so much trace of worry in his eyes.

"Tell me, oppa (older brother *female to male*). Why won't they listen to me? Why are they always taking Jihun's side instead of mine? Is my happiness really important to them? It hurts, oppa. Igeoseun manhi apayo (This hurts a lot)."

Said Yeonae to Yeonhun as she now stares down on her bed. Yeonhun stopped caressing Yeonae's back and let out a sigh.

"Moreugessda (I don't know), Yeonae-ya. Moreugesseo (I do not know)."

Answered Yeonhun to Yeonae. The door of Yeonae's room suddenly opened and Yeonchae enters with a glass of water in her hand. As soon as she closed the door, she then walk towards Yeonae and Yeonhun.

"Eumryosu (Drink), eonni (older sister *female to female*)."

Said Yeonchae as she reached out a glass of water to Yeonae while she's looking at her older sister with worry in her eyes.

"Gamsahabnida (Thank you), Yeonchae-ya."

Thanked Yeonae to their yeodongsaeng (younger sister) then drinks the water that Yeonchae gave her.

"Hwaiting (You can do it)!"

Cheered Yeonchae to Yeonae while still looking at her. She just looks at Yeonchae with a trace of confusion on her face while Yeonhun quickly glares at their yeodongsaeng (younger sister) and told her to get out of Yeonae's room with his head.

"Don't mind me. Are you finished drinking your water? I'll bring it down."

Said Yeonchae as she now looks at the glass of water that Yeonae's holding. Yeonae looks at Yeonchae then slowly looks at the glass of water that she's still holding. Yeonhun continued glaring at Yeonchae, making her flinch.

"I-I'll just go ahead. Everything will be ok, eonni (older sister *female to female*)."

Said Yeonchae to Yeonae then rapidly ran towards the door and gets out of Yeonae's room. Yeonhun buried his face on his palm then shakes his head because of Yeonchae.

"What was that about?"

Asked Yeonae to Yeonhun while she's still looking at the door. Yeonhun quickly raise his head thenlooks at Yeonae.

"Don't mind her. She's out of her mind these couple of days when you're not around."

Answered Yeonhun to Yeonae who's still looking at the door then drinks her water. Yeonhun stares at Yeonae then suddenly clears his throat while still looking at his yeodongsaeng (younger sister).

"So... did you guys really get away with Jaeho-ya in Jisun-ah's birthday?"

Asked Yeonhun to Yeonae as a way of cracking the silence between the two of them. After drinking, Yeonae slowly looks at the glass of water that she's still holding.

"Ne (Yes)."

Answered Yeonae as she giggled after drinking water. Yeonhun quickly put a smile on his face as soon as he sees his yeodongsaeng (younger sister) happy.

"Tell me everything that happened."

Said Yeonhun to Yeonae as he takes a sit in front of Yeonae. She looked at him and stared in his eyes.

"Which point of view do you prefer? Mine or Jihun's?"

Asked Yeonae to Yeonhun. He just smiled and pat Yeonae's head.

"Yours of course, neo pabo-ya (you idiot)."

Answered Yeonhun to Yeonae while he's still smiling.

"Remember when Wonhyeon-ah asked me to play with him? It turns out that Hayden asked him a favor in exchange of chocolates for a week. Then Danica said to her parents that she doesn't feel well and she wants to go home before she barfs."

Said Yeonae to Yeonhun while still looking at him. Yeonhun saw his younger sister's laugh and smile once again, making him laugh and continue to look at her.

"Yeah, I remember that. After Danica's acting... I knew something was off."

Said Yeonhun to Yeonae then snapped his finger, making Yeonae laugh again.

"So… while I was sitting on the sofa at the living room, Danica suddenly showed up and took a sit beside me, then Hayden followed and stood in front of us. Both of them had this kind of smile on their faces. That kind of smile that you'll identify as soon as you see them... like the events are already going with what they've planned."

Continued Yeonae as she tries to imitate Hayden and Danica's smile from that time. Yeonhun continued looking at her with a relieved smile on his face.

"And then?"

Yeonhun asked to Yeonae while he's still smiling at her.

"Then Hayden gave his abeojineun's (father's) car key to us to get the clothes we've secretly put at the compartment. After we got the clothes, Danica gave Hayden's clothes to him then we get changed in the bathroom at the same time."

Said Yeonae to Yeonhun while the smile on her face is still there and he just nods as he continues to smile and look at her.

"After we finished changing, we saw Hayden talking to Jihun. Then Jihun walks back at the dining area outside. I'm really sure Hayden said something to him. Whatever it is, maybe that's the reason why he called eomma (mum) last night and told her that he saw me and Jaeho oppa (older guy *female to male*)."

Said Yeonae as her smile slowly fades away, making Yeonhun's smile fades away as well.

"Did Jaeho-ya really kissed you?"

Asked Yeonhun to Yeonae as he now looks at her with concern in his eyes. Yeonae slowly looked at him and shook her head as an answer.

"Aniyo (No). He just kissed my forehead. But if he did, I'll be glad that he'll be the one who took my first kiss and not that psycho. Keurigo (And)... I really miss hanging out with him oppa (older brother *female to male*). So much."

Answered Yeonae to Yeonhun's question and a tear fell down from her left eye again. Yeonhun hold Yeonae's cheek and wipe the tear off her cheek. Yeonae suddenly remove Yeonhun's hand from her cheek and throws the glass of water that she's holding onto the floor, then she took one of her pillows beside her.

"Argh! I hate Jihun! I hate him very much! How could he do this?! He's a fo#$%@& psycho!"

Yelled Yeonae as she throws her pillow at the floor. Before Yeonae took another pillow and throw it at the floor, Yeonhun quickly hugged his yeodongsaeng (younger sister) so tightly even if she keeps pushing him, just to calm her down.

"I hate him! I hate Jihun! I hate him! I hate him. How could he? How could he do this to us? How could he do this to his best friend, Jaeho oppa (older guy *female to male*)?"

Said Yeonae as she cries while burying her face on her older brother's chest. Yeonhun silently caress her head then kisses it as he continues to hug her. Instead of saying something to his yeodongsaeng (younger sister), he just let her cry until she finally stopped.

"Baegopeun (Hungry)?"

Asked Yeonhun to Yeonae as he slowly releases her from his hug and looks at her with so much worry in his eyes. Yeonae nods as an answer and looks at him with her bloody red eyes. Yeonhun sighed and then looks at the shattered pieces of the glass on the floor.

"Let's go down together, okay? I'll help you with the house chores."

Said Yeonhun as he now looks at Yeonae while smiling at her and stands up from her bed. Yeonae looks at her older brother as he reaches out his hand for her to hold.

"Gamsahabnida (Thank you), oppa (older brother *female to male*)."

Said Yeonae as she held Yeonhun's hand while smiling at him weakly when she finally stood up and look down the floor to avoid the shattered pieces of the glass that she threw earlier. Yeonhun smiled back at Yeonae and messes her hair to distract her from focusing on the shattered glass. Yeonae just giggled and then Yeonhun pulled her gently while they're still holding hands, so that they get out from Yeonae's room together. As soon as they get out, Yeonhun releases Yeonae's hand from his hold and then closes her bedroom door.

"What do you want to eat? You didn't go down for breakfast earlier."

Asked Yeonhun to Yeonae as they are now walking down the stairs.

"Anything would do."

Answered Yeonae to Yeonhun's question when they finally reached the first floor of their house.

"Ok, I'll prepare so many foods for you to eat. You like that?"

Ask Yeonhun to Yeonae as he quickly looks at her with a huge smile on his face. Yeonae just giggled as Yeonhun run towards their kitchen and began to gather the ingredients he needed.

"Please don't use all the ingredients that we have in the kitchen oppa (older brother *female to male*)."

Said Yeonae to Yeonhun as she sat at the counter and watch her oppa (older brother *female to male*) cook for her. Yeonhun laughed and starts chopping the vegetables.

"I can't promise that one~."

Said Yeonhun to Yeonae while chuckling as he continues to chop the vegetables.

"You really miss Jaeho-ya that much, huh?"

Asked Yeonhun to Yeonae as he boils the water on the pot. Yeonae nods at him even though Yeonhun's not looking at her.

"Ne (Yes)."

Answered Yeonae as she began to play with the artificial plant at the counter.

"I miss him, too. Beside Hayden-ah, Jaeho-ya's the one I can count on when it comes to protecting you. It's just really sad that your relationship with him turns out this way."

Said Yeonhun to Yeonae as he now gave her a glass of water. Yeonae just giggled and touch the glass of water that Yeonhun gave her.

"Did you hear everything?"

Asked Yeonae all of a sudden to her older brother as she now plays with the glass of water in front of her. Yeonhun stopped from what he's doing and looked at Yeonae.

"This morning? Eung (Yes). Yeonchae-ya and I heard everything."

Answered Yeonhun to Yeonae's question as he continues to cook. Yeonae just let out a sigh and drink the glass of water. Yeonhun finally finished cooking and quickly take a glance at his yeodongsaeng (younger sister).

"We can't blame you for defending him. We know that he's really important to you."

Said Yeonhun to Yeonae as he now puts the food he cooked in a bowl.

"Where did you guys go after getting away from the Lee's with Jaeho-ya?"

Asked Yeonhun to Yeonae as he now arrange the dining table for his yeodongsaeng (younger sister).

"We went to our usual spot then we watched the movie 'The Love Booth', but I fell asleep and... and woke up when the end of the movie's near. It was such a bummer!"

Answered Yeonae to her older brother while pouting as she walks towards the dining table that Yeonhun prepare for her. But before she even takes a sit on a chair at the dining table, the doorbell suddenly rang, making the two of them look at each other then swiftly look at their main door.

"I got it!"

Said Yeonchae to both her older siblings as she ran towards the main door and their gate. Yeonae stared at the opened door then Danica, along with Hayden, suddenly appeared. Danica quickly ran towards Yeonae who's now sitting at the dining table then hugged her tightly.

"I'll be upstairs in case anybody needs me."

Said Yeonchae as soon as she enters their house and quickly ran up the stairs and enters her room.

"I'm so sorry, Yeonae-ya. I shouldn't have continued my plan to get away from that place. I should've known that you'll be grounded once imo (aunt) Willow found out. Joesonghabnida (I'm sorry). Geugeos-eun nae jalmos-iya (It's my fault)."

Said Danica to Yeonae while she's still hugging her. Hayden suddenly hit Danica's arm and takes a sit beside Yeonae at the dining table.

"Aray (Ouch)! Bakit mo ginawa yun sakin (Why did you do that to me)?!"

Shout Danica to Hayden as she quickly releases Yeonae from her hug and caress her arm that Hayden hit.

"Don't tell me that instead of reading my message while you're fully awake, you fool had read it as soon as you woke up?"

Asked Hayden to Danica while he's now looking at her. Danica looks at Hayden as her eyebrows narrowed and quickly took her phone out from her pocket.

"You just texted me that Yeonae-ya got grounded. Nugu paboseo? Eung!? (Who's a fool? Huh!?)"

Said Danica to Hayden as she showed him his text message to her. Yeonae and Yeonhun laugh at both of them while Hayden quickly looks away from Danica as soon as he read his text message to her.

"Mian (Sorry). MY BAD."

Apologized Hayden to Danica as he now looks at the food in front of Yeonae.

"Jihun-ah called our eomeoni (mother) last night and told her about Yeonae-ya getting away with Jaeho-ya. That is why Yeonae-ya got grounded for a whole week with no phones, no going out with the two of you and all she can do is house chores."

Said Yeonhun to both Hayden and Danica as he places two more bowls with the food he cooked at the dining table. Danica quickly takes a sit beside Hayden as she keeps looking at the bowl.

"Eumsik-e gamsadeuribnida (Thank you for the food)!"

Thanked Yeonae, Hayden and Danica as they bowed to Yeonhun and began to eat their food.

"Hyeong (older guy *male to male*). If I were to ask you to choose between Jaeho and Jihun... Who would you choose?"

Asked Hayden to Yeonhun as soon as he swallowed his food then looks at him with curiosity in his eyes. Danica quickly looked at Yeonhun and waits for his answer.

"Of course its Jae--."

Answered Yeonhun to Hayden's question but...

"I knew it! He chose Jihun! How could you do that to your own yeodongsaeng (younger sister), Yeonhun oppa (older guy *female to male*)?!"

Interrupt Danica to Yeonhun while she's now standing and the food from her mouth flies away towards the dining table. Yeonhun looked at her with disgust, while Hayden hits her arm again while looking down.

"OW! THAT FREAKING HURTS, OK?! KNOCK IT OFF! GEEZ!"

Shout Danica to Hayden as she caresses her arm that Hayden hit while glaring at him.

"JUST LET HIM FINISH! I don't know how did I became friends with you. Also, clean the mess you've made."

Said Hayden to Danica as he continues to look down on the dining table and continues eating. Danica then crossed her arms and smiled while still looking at him.

"But you do love me, don't you?"

Asked Danica confidently to Hayden, making him groan. Danica and Yeonae just laughed at him while Yeonhun giggled.

"It's the first time I saw Hayden-ah like this. HE ALWAYS HIT SOMEONE WHEN HE'S HAPPY."

Said Yeonhun to Hayden and Danica with a smirk of his face. Yeonae looked at her older brother and continued laughing.

"BELIEVE ME. HE'S ALWAYS HITTING DANICA WHENEVER WE'RE TOGETHER."

Said Yeonae to Yeonhun as she points at Hayden who's still looking down the dining table. Yeonhun burst out laughing while Danica blushed and took a sit once again.

"I wonder who's blushing?"

Teased Yeonhun as he now looks at Danica while still smirking. Danica quickly looked at Yeonhun and then looks at Hayden who's now looking at her. Yeonae began to grin at both Hayden and Danica just to tease them quietly.

"Yoo Yeonhun! Your abeoji (father) told me that Jiwoo's abeoji wants to talk to you, so go visit him."

Said Willow to Yeonhun as she walks down the stairs while holding her pouch.

"Waeyo (Why)?"

Asked Yeonhun to his mother as he walk closer to her at the living room. Yeonae, Danica and Hayden were left in the kitchen, quietly eating their food that Yeonhun cooked.

"I think he has something to tell you? I DON'T KNOW. I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT COULD IT BE THAT HE WANTS TO TALK ABOUT WITH YOU. Just go get changed and visit the Lee's."

Said Willow to her son, Yeonhun. He just bowed at her and began to climb upstairs towards his room. Hayden, Yeonae and Danica finally finished eating their food. Hayden and Danica quickly hide at the yard after placing their bowls and other utensils at the sink, while Yeonae quietly stood up from the chair, carry the bowl and other utensils then placed it at the sink too.

"YOU FINALLY GOT OUT FROM YOUR ROOM YOUNG LADY. NOW GO CLEAN THE HOUSE AND DO THE LAUNDRY. I'LL BE HOME LATE."

Said Willow Yeonae as she walks out of the house. Yeonae quietly walk towards the living room, stares at their main door and sighed. A few seconds later, Danica and Hayden walk back at the kitchen then walk towards Yeonae.

"I'll close the gates."

Said Hayden as he walks out of the house to close the gates. Yeonae let out a much heavier sigh as she continues to look at the main door. Danica then slowly walks towards her and hugged her from the back.

"You and Jaeho-ya doesn't deserve this. I'm so sorry that both of you have to go through this. If only Hayden and I were there at that time, then this wouldn't have happened."

Said Danica to Yeonae while she's still hugging her. Yeonae starts washing the dishes while crying silently. Danica let go of her hug to her. Yeonae took a deep breath.

"Gwaenchanayo (It's okay). It's Jihun's fault. Not yours nor Hayden oppa (older guy)."

Said Yeonae to Danica as she holds both her arms that's still hugging her. Danica just looks at Hayden who comes back inside, then sighed.

"I'll clean upstairs, ok?"

Said Danica to Yeonae as she now releases her from her hug. Yeonae nods as an answer. Danica looked at Yeonae for the last time and began to walk towards the stairs where she crossed paths with Yeonhun who just finished changing clothes.

"YOU OKAY THERE?"

Asked Yeonhun to Yeonae as he walk towards her. Yeonae quickly looked at Yeonhun and smiled at him forcefully.

"I THINK SO."

Answered Yeonae to her older brother as she continued to smile at him forcefully. Yeonhun's heart broke as soon as he saw her smile. He quickly ran towards he and then give her a tight hug. Yeonae began to sob while Yeonhun cried silently then kissed her head.

Danica suddenly walks down the stairs to ask Yeonae where the broom is but she quickly stopped when she saw Yeonhun comforting her. Danica began crying as well and wanted to go near them but Hayden quickly prevents her from doing so, by going up the stairs and blocking her way. Danica quickly looked at Hayden and saw him crying. Hayden finally looks at Danica with his eyes filled with tears and shook his head.

"LET'S JUST CLEAN UPSTAIRS."

Said Hayden to Danica as he wipes his tears and continued going upstairs. Danica glance at Yeonae and Yeonhun one last time before she wipes her tears and followed Hayden.

"I'll be home as fast as I could. I'll cook dinner for you. I also told Yeonchae-ya to help you clean the house."

Said Yeonhun to Yeonae as he lets her go from his hug. Yeonae nods, looks at him and then smiled weakly. Yeonhun kissed Yeonae's head once again, smiles at her and began to walk towards the main door to leave to go at the Lee's.

"I can do this. Jaeho and I can get through this. Just... Be strong, Yoo Yeonae. Be strong"

Said Yeonae to herself as she starts to walk towards the sink and began to wash the dishes. Yeonchae suddenly comes down and ran towards Yeonae at the sink.

"I'LL SWEEP THE FLOOR. YOU CLEAN THE DISPLAYS. DEAL?"

Said Yeonchae to her older sister. Yeonae just nods and smile as an answer to Yeonchae as she continues to wash the dishes. Yeonchae took the broom from the yard and started sweeping at the kitchen.

"I miss Jaeho oppa (older guy *female to male*), too. I stayed quiet because I don't want to receive and earful from eomma (mum)… but I guess it was wrong. It was wrong to stay quiet when I know the truth."

Said Yeonchae to Yeonae as she continues to sweep at the kitchen. Yeonae quickly stopped washing the dishes and looked at her yeodongsaeng (younger sister) with wide eyes.

"YES. I SAW WHAT HAPPENED 5 YEARS AGO. I WAS ON MY WAY HOME TOO FROM MY ACADEMY."

Said Yeonchae to Yeonae as she continues to sweep the kitchen floor and tries not to look at her eonni (older sister *female to female*).

"HAVE YOU HEARD EVERYTHING, TOO?"

Asked Yeonae to Yeonchae as she dries her wet hands and walks closer to her.

"Ne (Yes)."

Answered Yeonchae to Yeonae as she stops sweeping, looks down the floor and began to cry. Yeonae quickly hugged her yeodongsaeng (younger sister) to comfort her as tears fell from her eyes again.
