17 17 Together With You

Eric drove them to their flat and spent the night there with them. However, there were only 2 bedrooms where they live and both have a single sized bed. Though the living room has a sofa, not a big one as only two girls are living there. Eric was about six foot tall, he won't fit on their sofa definitely!

"Ji, since Eric is your boyfriend now, maybe he could sleep in your room?" Alice tried to push the two together, if she's lucky enough, her brother will be thanking her later and probably receive a gift from him.

"Uhm...." it was hard to answer Alice as she doesn't know what to say. Not that she doesn't want to be close with Eric, it's just, she is not ready for it.

Eric saw her face and realised that she was put on the spot by his sister, rather than being turned down, he smiled, "I'm okay in the couch. You two should relax and sleep. After all, I'm just invading the two of you." Once more the dimples on his face and gleaming white teeth shone as he charmingly smiled.

Before they all went to sleep, Alice gave her brother a pillow and a duvet and dumped it on the couch for him. Later on, around 1 am, Ji An woke up to use the toilet, she noticed that Eric was being uncomfortable in his position on the couch, after all, he was tall and the sofa was way too small for him. She first went to the toilet before waking him up. "Hey, Eric.." nudging his arm to wake him up, "Wake up.." he opened his eyes slightly and sat up when he saw Ji An, "I know you still have to go to work later." Her voice was very low so she will not wake Alice up and make a commotion in those hours, "Why don't you move to my bed." Ji An offered nicely because she felt sorry for him, he really looked uncomfortable and it might hurt his back, legs and arms in his position just to fit himself in that tiny couch. She knows that he is not used in sleeping that way as he always slept in a nice and comfy bed.

Eric answered quickly, "No, it's fine! I'm okay here really. Thank you." His face seemed happy and as always that smile of his never left his face as he spoke to her. It's not that he wanted to reject her offer but she needs more comfort than him.

"Really?" She looked at him and his legs with a teasing smile, "Look at your legs." Ji An didn't suppress her giggles as she found it really funny.

"Is it funny?" Eric smiled and stared at her. He studied Ji An's face a little, her face was tiny and a little pale but one could tell that she is really beautiful. Her smile will make you fall for her unintentionally, "Okay, I'll move to your bed." He gathered his pillow and duvet and took it to her room.

As both of them were in her room, Ji An felt a bit nervous and awkward. The bed was not that big, after all, it's a single bed but maybe enough to fit them provided they will not move a lot, "Ok... so you sleep on the left side while I'll be on the right. No monkey business okay?" She nervously gave him a smile and walked to her side of the bed.

"Yeah of course..." he answered her to make her feel secure maybe, after all, she is trusting him right now. "I won't do anything naughty." Eric smiled at her.

They both went to sleep but Ji An was a bit worried that she couldn't sleep at all, 'What if he does it again and attack me while I'm sleeping?' Eric was sound asleep while she struggled to even shut her eyes, eventually, she just fell asleep as she was too tired to even fight it.

Alice woke up and head to the living room to check on her brother, but to her surprise, Eric wasn't there. "Did he left early without telling me?" She was surprised with the idea but recovered pretty quickly, "Oh well, maybe he has an important meeting to attend." She went to the kitchen instead and made herself tea.

Ji An woke up and as soon as she opened her eyes she found Eric's eyes looking at her. "Hey, good morning!" Her voice was as sweet as ever, even after waking up, "Why are you staring at me? You should get ready, right? You still have to drive back to the city."

She yawned and was about to get up when Eric asked her, "Can I hug you and our baby?" His voice was low and his eyes were pleading, "Just once and I'll get ready." He wasn't really sure if he was asking for too much from her but he will take the chance, "Before I leave I just want to make sure our baby knows I'm here for him or her." with a warm smile on his face.

She wasn't sure if it's a good idea but she agreed with him. "Okay." After all, it's just a hug and it's his child, it's not like he will jump on her or anything like that.

He hugged her and at that moment Alice opened the door and witness as he hugged her. They were lying down in bed, Ji An has her back turned facing the door and Eric was hugging her from behind, a back hug in bed. It looked so sweet and Alice thought they looked like a loving couple, she was so happy for them. Such a shame that she doesn't have her phone with her to snap a photo of her two favourite people.

However, on Ji An's part, it felt like she was caught by her parents with a boyfriend in her room doing things she's not supposed to. "Alice—" but Alice cut her off instantly.

"Let's have breakfast. Come out when you're done with the sweetness. Hold on..." she left them without shutting the door and went to her room to get her phone then rushed back to Ji An's bedroom and took a picture of the scene in bed, "Okay!" She then headed out to the living room to look at the photo on her phone with giddy reactions before she sent it to her parents.

Ji An faced Eric, looked at each other and they both laughed. Her heartfelt at ease and the coldness between them perished.

After they had breakfast, Eric prepared to leave while Ji An and Alice prepared themselves to go to uni. Their life pretty much went back to normal after the chaotic mess from the past days.

Ji An was allowed to continue school but upon reaching 7 months of her pregnancy she was told to do home studies. During her home study period, she will stay at Chelsea where Eric and his parents live so that, they can look after her and her baby.

However, Eric wanted to live only with Ji An that was why he bought a £10,000,000 penthouse apartment located near the famous Tower Bridge and London Bridge. The view from the apartment was breathtaking as they have a panoramic view of the River Thames. It has 3 bedrooms which Eric thought, one for them while the other room is for their child and one guest room for Alice or his parents if they want to spend time with them. Eric wanted them to start their little family there he didn't mind the cost of the house as money was never an issue to him. When Ji An reached 7 months of pregnancy, he will take her there and that will be their home sweet home, a place where they can dream about their future together.

Now 5 months in her pregnancy, her belly was really showing. Eric has been visiting her and staying overnight at their flat and she was getting used of Eric being there for her. One night, when Eric was staying over, Ji An talked to him about her decision. "About the marriage... let us talk about it after our child was born. There will be plenty of time to talk about it. For now, I'm accepting you as my boyfriend." She smiled at Eric.

"OMG! Is this for real!!!! You are official now. I'm so happy for the two of you. Please, Eric, stay here until tomorrow. Don't go back to London." Alice held her brother's arms and she hugged it not willing to let him go. She was so giddy, excited and ecstatic about the news.

Eric looked at Ji An with the biggest smile on his face, "Do you want me to stay a bit longer?"

Ji An smiled back at him, "Of course."
