FIRST MEETING

It's Monday, the 23rd of October, 2024, and VINES Academy have anew student in the 9th Grade. The student(Girl) is very excited to meet new people. She is wearing a dark blue and white multi-colored shirt, with a button loose at the top, with a pair of jeans and a red and a pair of red and white colored ADIDAS shoes.

"Class today, we've got a new student:Quinn." Said the teacher

"Go sit next to Jason." Ordered the teacher

"Hi l, I'm Quinn, nice to meet you Jason."

"You don't need to say your name twice, I heard it from the teacher."Replied Jason.

QUINN'S POV

"Dis Jason dude, is kinda rude and keep freaking me out. Why is he staring and the broken pendant on the neck?!, Or is he looking at something else?!!

(Snaps her fingers), "Watcha looking at?! Quinn asked.

-"Just wondering how in the world you got the other half of my pendant". Jason replied.

"Ehmm!, You two quiet down in my class, I'm not surprised at Jason, but Quinn, you are a new student!". The teacher said.

"Sorry Mr. Holland." Matt said.

"Dis teacher is already a pain int the neck, just by looking at him,it's gonna be very difficult for both of us to get along."Quinn said

"Don't worry, you'll get used to it. He's just a piece of sh*t, handling some teens!".Jason said.

(Quinn burst out in laughter, without drawing the attention of the teacher)

"Anyway, back to the topic, where did you get that pendant?" Jason asked.

"It was a birthday gift from my late mum when I was 5. She gave me with a song.

FLASHBACK

"Five vines are better that one,the more vines they are, the more the grapes."

"Mum, I don't get it." Quinn said

"Don't worry, one day you will."Quinn's mom said

"when?"

"Ehmm, lemme say at 14"

(They both laughed and fed each other some chocolate cake)

"Sweetie, in five years, I won't be around anymore." Quinn's mom said

"What do you mean Bella?" Quinn said in a silly tone.

"I'm going on a mission, one that last forever." Bella replied

"KK Mum, I love you!!"

"Love you too sweetie." Bella said, as she hugged Quinn with tears in her eyes.

FLASH BACK END

"Hey, quit the flashback and continue what you were saying!! Jason said rudely.

"Sorry" Quinn said in a sad tone

QUINN'S POV

"Dis dude is heartless, I'm having a flashback 'bout my late late mum, And he doesn't seem to care. He's just made the top of my HATE LIST!"

"My mum said the pendant was made by a middle aged man back in 1996. The man gave it to her as a reward, after she helped him with some groceries. The man told my mum it was special,and shouldn't fall into the wrong hands. My mum bella gave it to her friend Matt and also her bestfriend, the pendant, but he hit her on the head with a vase, then she became unconscious. He broke the pendant into two halves, then it killed him because of the evil he did" Quinn said

"Matt was the name of my late father, that means we are connected somehow."Jason said

"Yah!" Quinn said while blushing awkwardly.

"But what did my mom mean by the pendant was special?!" Quinn asked rhetorically.

"Detenion for both of you tomorrow, after school!"

"Oh no first day, and I've got detention, what is dad gonna say?!" Quinn thought to herself, then the closing bell rang.
