Phenomenon

Even if it's the Friday morning that everyone has been waiting for because they can finally rest after studying hard all week, I'm sitting in the basement of the faculty building and not feeling as fresh as I should have been because my quiz score is lower than I expected. It made me lose my spirit to the point that I didn't want to do anything.

"I told you to go, make merit and read your horoscope, but you won't believe me." The sound of Ai Thi sitting in front of me.

"What does it have to do with horoscopes?"

"Why wouldn't it be relevant? It can give you clues whether you will be lucky or not, and how to decrease the chance of you being unlucky." My friend's strange reason gave me a throbbing headache, but I was too lazy to argue. So I let it go.

"Come on, just one quiz won't cause the grade to drop a lot, at most, just 0.xxx"

Thi probably noticed that I was really depressed, so he stopped teasing. He lightly tapped my head as a consolation gesture while drinking a glass of water with a relaxed expression.

"You're very chill." I enviously looked at those who got lower scores, but still had a relaxed demeanor.

Ai Thi is not serious about everything in life, including studying as well. He's not very interested in collecting grades. He always says that being able to graduate is enough, but he can say that because he comes from a rich family. He just needs to finish school and then come back to help the family business, unlike me who has to use grades to apply for a job. In addition, the competition rate of new graduates is so high, how can you not think too much?

"Well, you've also learned to act like me and no need to be too serious. By the way, is the second year not out yet?" Ai Thi's slender eyes flickered all around, try to find the person that made him refuse to go back home after school.

"Around ten minutes or more. Pan told me just now that his teacher didn't let him come out yet"

"Oh, The teacher! How can you teach past teaching time? It's useless!" Thi looks tired and starts chewing the ice in his glass to relieve boredom.

"Then why are you still sitting and waiting? Isn't it good to finish school and go back?"

"My friend will be lonely if I leave so I'm being a good friend and accompanying you."

He turned to give me a fake smile. I just looked at him pretending to be a good friend with a tired face.

Today I brought Lexer to Pan, my code junior. Thi wanted to flirt with my junior so he didn't hesitate to act as a good friend, pretending to accompany me even though I didn't need him. Honestly, this action of him quite surprise me. Thi that I knew from my freshman year seemed like someone who didn't want a serious relationship. I often saw him flirting with several people, never really serious with anyone.

Until last year, when he met Pan on the first day of freshman recreational event, where we as second year became committee seniors. That was the first time Ai Thi had met Pan. I saw my friend staring at that cute little boy with full curiosity. At first, I thought it will like his normal flirting route, so I wasn't really interested. Until Pan drew the lottery and became my junior code. I told Ai Thi to not mess with my junior. I know my friend's habits so I'm afraid that the two of them will have problems until they can't look at each other. But Ai Thi's answer surprised me.

"I'm not playing. I'm serious with this person. I like your code junior. I really like him from the first day we met, it was love at first sight."

I still remember his firm voice and the earnest look in his eyes, which was beyond my expectations. I don't understand how people could like anyone so much even if they only met once? To be honest, I didn't really believe his words, but it's been over a year now, and his eyes only look at Pan.

It means that love at first sight is real. But it never happen to me.
