17 Your leaving me?

Two weeks has pass.

"Mother, I'm not leaving," Kyle protested and left the house.

After dinner, I went out to throw out the garbage and saw Kyle in front of my house. "What happened?" as I walked closer to him. Kyle stood there staring at me and suddenly hugged me tightly. "Is everything okay?" Kyle slowly releases his arm and look at me. "I'm going to leave..." I stood there confusingly and didn't understand what he meant by that. "Where are you going? Is it somewhere far?" Kyle gently touches my face and nods his head. I try to hide my feelings, "When are you coming back then?" as I felt my eyes with tears. "I'm not sure..." he didn't know what to say next.

My eyes got blurred by the tears. "When are you leaving?" as I force a smile and look at him. "In three days." I feel like I couldn't hold in anymore and my tears starts rolling down. I ran back inside my house and ran straight to my room. "Lilian, what happened?" I shut the door behind me and ignored my dad.

-----The next day------

The weather is so nice outside today and could scent spring is coming soon. "Lilian, you're gonna be late for school if you don't wake up now," as her father knocks the door. "I have to go to work early today and breakfast is on the table. Make sure to eat before you go to school."

As the footsteps slowly descended down the stairs and out the doors, I got out of bed and went to wash my face.

"Good morning," as Jill came up to me at the school entrance. "Why do you look so down?" I shake my head and went inside the classroom.

The bell rang and Kyle still haven't come to school yet.

"Do you know where Kyle is?" I asked Jill since she might know. " I heard that his parents came by and say that he'll be transferring school." My heart sank and didn't know what to do now. 'Will I ever see him again?' as she spaced out and wonders to herself. "I heard he's going to France where his brother is," as Jill replies. "France? He didn't tell me that yesterday," as I slowly said it to myself.

After school ends, I decided not to take the bus and walked home instead. <PLOP PLOP> Rains starts coming down and I didn't bring an umbrella today. I starts running back home and saw someone standing in front of my house.
