He suddenly hold both of my hands and my heart started to beat so fast.

"Can you be my girlfriend? So, I can protect you?" I looked at him in his eyes and it doesn't seem he was joking.

"Sorry, I can't," and slid my hands away from him. He just stood there and stare at me.

All he said was "Let's get going." Then when I reach my house, I said goodnight and head in. From the window, I saw him still standing there and not moving.

As I lay down on my bed, my head flashes back to a few days before and realized so much things have happen. Both the Jung brothers asked me to be their girlfriend and I rejected both of them. Now, my parents are getting a divorce and I'm not even sure how my life will turn. I sighed and pull the comforter over my head.

It was the next morning and I have to stay home to finish my homework. As I took out my homework, I realized that I don't have my science textbook. Then I remembered that I bought it to the library yesterday and Kyle was using it. He must've took it by accident when we were packing our stuff. After what happen yesterday, I don't know if we'll go back to before where we don't talk or will he still talk to me. As I was about to message him, he called me.

"Hello?"

"Can you come over to my house? I have something to tell you."

"Uhmm, ok."

I got to his house and when I was about to ring the doorbell, Kenji came from behind me.

"Hey, you scared me" as I try to calm myself down. "Why are you here? You came to find me" and bending down and stare at me. I try to avoid his eye contact and wish someone is here to help me. The door knob clicked and Kyle was standing there looking at us. I pushed Kenji away and he went in . Kyle bought me to his room and I stood there not knowing what to do. He stared at me for a minute and finally opened his mouth. "Do you like my brother?" asked calmly. My eyebrow furrows and wondering why he's asking me that. I shared my head and said "no." His body relaxes and I could see a smile on his face but quickly made a straight face again. "Well, even though you rejected me yesterday , it doesn't mean that I can't make you love me." confidently said

"and from today on I'll start chasing you." I didn't expect him to say those things and I forgot why I came to his house for. He pulled me up so close that I could my reflection in his eyes. "I'm serious," he whispered in my ear. He then pulled me away as I stood there dumbfounded. I walked out his room and when I was about to exit, I forgot what I came here for. I started to walk back up and he suddenly came in front of me.

"Forgot something," he smiled. I nodded and said that I left my textbook with him yesterday. He handed me it and I said thank you. As I turn the door knob, I heard him scream "See you tomorrow." I then realized that we're in the same class now.
