Chapter nine

Massir left the room but didn't go far. He remained close enough for the prince not to be suspicious but close enough to listen to everything that happened in the prince's room.

From his knowledge of the prince he could sense that he was hiding something. It was his job to know everything about the prince in case a problem arises.

Not to mention, the prince sold himself away when he talked far more than normal. He even explained himself, the prince he knew never explained himself to anyone and hated saying more than fifty words during a conversation.

"You can come out now," the prince stated. He waited for a few minutes and saw his birthday gift stepping out of the closet.

Massir couldnt get his scent due to the perfume that the prince had sprayed so he couldn't tell for sure who it was the prince was with.

"That was close," Ty let out with a sigh. His demon was not done yet, it wanted more of the taste that he got from kissing the older male's neck. It was driving him crazy.

Ivan moved over to the prince and took his hands. He made some signs with his hands that made no sense at all. The prince couldn't understand what the older man was saying at all.

'I love how gentle you are. Please never stop being good to me,' Ivan motioned with his hand.

From the confused look on Tyrone's face, he was sure his message wasn't passed. One day he hoped he would be able to speak the same language as him and be able to tell him anything.

He leaned his head and gave the prince a soft light kiss on the lips. Since he could communicate with the prince, it was the only way that he could express anything.

When Massir had the sound of the kiss, he stopped listening. His ears turned red from ease dropping on the prince. He left and went away, surprised and shocked at how fast the prince was.

They hadn't been there long and already he had made a special friend. It was a topic that he was sure the king would love to hear.

Ty didn't know how to react and just stayed still. Ivan decided to get the prince another plate of food seeing as the younger boy had thrown his food away when the butler came. He left the room leaving a startled prince as he was.

Tyrone's demon getting more demanding. It wanted to be let out, to mark his mate so no one else can ever touch him. It was very excited to meet Ivan for sure.

"Stop now, I need some rest," he let out annoyed by how much he was being forced to think about the beautiful older male.

"You can rest in his embrace," his demon uttered. The idea sounding appealing to him. It was mainly because of how active his demon was. It was affecting his head and his senses. It was weird.

"On second thought I will just read a novel," he said and took one of the novels from the table. He opened it and the chapter that he had opened happened to be a part where the female and male lead of the book were having a moment.

He had a feeling a certain demon in head had purposefully turned to that page to further build on his desire for their mate. His demon was always very cunning when it came to what it wanted.

He read through the chapter, his body reacting to the intense emotions he read. He closed the book seeing how bad of an idea it was to read. He didn't want to close his eyes to sleep as his demon would only moment him with thoughts of Ivan.

"I could go for a run," he suggested.

"Can you imagine Ivan with a sweaty body and shirtless from a run?" he demon inquired making the very image form in Ty's mind. He was sure that image was etched to his memory forever.

He closed his eyes in frustration but opened them just as quickly. The thoughts of Ivan were haunting him and his demon was having fun making him think of the older male.

He thought of his kingdom and his people but it was futile. That thought made him think of whether his people were turned to slaves. When the term entered his mind, he went back to his original thoughts of his older mate.

"I give up," he said. Just then the sweet smell of his mate accosted his nose. He rushed to open the door, after all the pushing his demon did. He found that he was a little eager to see the older male again.

Ivan walked into the room with a new plate of food in his hand. He set the food down at the table and poured a glass of water for the prince. The prince watched his every move trying to see what was so special about him that it drove his demon crazy.

Until they arrived in this place, his demon only ever had thought of tearing people apart but never interested in tenderly showering affection to a person.

"Thank you," he let out gratefully to Ivan who replied with a sweet smile.

"Goodness, how is a person supposed to practice self control when you look so cute?" the prince asked digging into the food. He didn't see the blush that crept up on the older male's cheeks on hearing his words.

'If you like my smile then I will always smile for you,' Ivan thought.

The attention the prince was giving him was just what he needed. He needed it to remain in the house and live the comfortable life he had. He didn't want much in life, only that which he had now.

The comfortable bed that beat sleeping on the ground. Three healthy meals that beat the one meal of leftovers he was used to before. A life or respect that beat the beatings and torture that he had gotten before.

'I never want to leave your side,' he thought sadly. He knew for sure that the prince will get tired of him and send him back, it was only a matter of when. But he could only hope he wouldn't.
