2 Chapter 1

I was just sitting at the bench when someone approached me.

"Miss, mag tatanong lang sana ako, saan bang gawi ang banyo dito? Ngayon lang kasi ako nakapunta dito kung kaya't di ko pa kabisado." alangang tanong sa akin ng may edad ng ginang na kung hindi ako nagkakamali ay nasa late 60's na.

Tinignan ko naman ito and gave her the sweetest smile that I have.

"Ayos lang po ba kung sasamahan ko na kayo?" tanong ko na siyang ikinabigla nito.

"Naku maaabala pa kita, nakakahiya naman, 'wag na at ako nalang ang pupunta doon." pag tanggi nito na sinabayan pa ng pag iling.

Nginitian ko na lamang ito at saka naglakad palapit sa guard post sa entrance ng mall upang hiramin ang wheelchair na nandoon. Pag balik ko sa matanda ay nagtataka ako nitong tinignan, na para bang tinatanong kung bakit ako may dalang wheelchair.

"Tara na po, sumakay na po kayo at ako na lamang ang mag tutulak sa inyo, mukha po kasing nahihirapan kayo sa paglakad dahil diyan sa benda sa paa ninyo." pahayag ko na ikinagulat niyang muli.

Siguro ay nagtataka siya kung bakit ko nalaman na may benda ang paa niya, I just noticed na may nakabukol sa bandang paanan niya at may nakita rin akong kapirasong benda kanina ng sinuri ko siya.

"Pero, hindi ba nakakahiya sa iyo? Baka naiistorbo kita? O kaya ay may hinihintay ka?" pag aalangan parin nito. Nginitian ko lang siya.

"Lola, ayos lang po sa akin, kaya sige na po tara na 'coz I'm sure na mamaya pa po darating yung mga iniintay ko." sinsero kong sabi dito. 'Di na ito umangal pa at umupo na lamang sa wheel chair at hinayaan akong itulak ito.

Patungo na kami sa kinaroroonan ng naturang banyo ng bigla siyang magtanong.

"Hija, maaari ko bang malaman kung ano ang ngalan mo?" tanong nito.

"Sienna po, Sienna Rayne Aceves." Agad kong sagot sa kaniyang katanungan.

"O? Hindi ba't iyong apelyido mo ang 'ngalan ng mall na ito?" kuryoso muling tanong nito.

Ngumiti na lamang ako at hindi na siya sinagot pa. As we enter the comfort room of the mall the janitress gave me a respectful smile, I just nodded to her. Pumasok na si Lola sa isang cubicle so I decided to wait for her here outside.

bzzzt bzzzt

Someone texted me. I hooked my phone out inside my pocket.

"We're almost there."

I replied ok then ibinulsa ko na yung phone ko, sakto namang lumabas na si lola sa cubicle.

"Naku, maraming salamat talaga jiha at pasensiya na sa abala" aniya ng makalabas na kami ng cr. Napangiti na lamang ako.

"Wala po iyon, La" nakangiting pahayag ko. "Saan po pala kayo pupunta?" tanong ko.

"Diyan na lamang ako sa gilid, may iniintay lang din ako, tiyak namang nandiyaan na rin iyon." paliwanag nito. As in cue may tumawag dito mula sa aking likuran.

"Nay! Kanina pa po ba k---" natigilan ito ng makita ako.

"O, Arlene nariyan ka na pala, kanina pa kita hinihintay. Siya nga pala," bumaling ito sa akin. "Siya daw si Inna Aceves" pagpapakilala nito sa akin.

"Sienna po." natatawang pag tatama ko rito.

"Yun na nga." bumaling muli ito sa kasama. "May pag kakahawig sila ng iyong anak, hindi ba? Napaka gandang bata."

Napansin kong hanggang ngayon ay nakatitig parin sa akin yung tinawag niyang Arlene kaya't nginitian ko ito at nang matinag ay agad niyang hinawakan ang handle ng wheelchair at itinulak ang matanda papalayo sa akin. Weird?

"Sieeeeen!" umalingawngaw ang isang pamilyar na boses kaya napabaling ako sa aking likuran kung saan naroon ang entrance ng mall, at hindi nga ako nag kamali.

"Kelsey! Mitch!" kaway ko sa kanilang dalawa.

Nang makalapit ay agad nila akong niyakap.

"Shiz! I miss you Sien! Where's my pasalubong?" salubong ni Mitch, one of my bestfriend. Napailing na lamang ako sa salubong niya sa akin.

"Gosh Sien, you didn't inform us na nakauwi ka na!" nagtatampo kunyaring ani ni Kelsey, my bully bestfriend. "At talagang in all places dito pa sa mall niyo ka nag set ng meet up? Huh nice." She added sarcastically.

"Well it's not bad to be here guys? Did you two missed me?" inosenteng tanong ko.

"No!" "Of course!" sabay nilang sagot bago kami sabay na sabay na natawa.

"So, how's New York?" asked Mitch

"New York padin?" pilosopong sagot ko.

"C'mon Sien, tell us what happened?" pamimilit ni Kelsey habang nag lalakad kami.

"There's nothing to tell Kelsey Vonna, Business nila ang ipinunta namin doon." paliwanag ko, ngunit parang hindi pa din ito kumbinsido.

"Okay fine!" sabi nito at agad naunang mag lakad kaya sinundan nalang namin siya ni Mitch.

These two girls means a lot to me. I've never expected in my whole life that I will have a friends like them.

Keira Mitchelle Garbajosa or Mitch is my 'wonder woman'. I know it's weird but I really sees her as my hero since were in grade 1. Let's say she always help me out from my bullies, at first I thought that she's one of them but everyday back then, she always prove me that she's not and I'm very thankful to have a friend like her. Her parents managing some Condos and Hotels inside and outside the country. She's the cute type I don't know but for me she looks adorable. She had a chest length wavy hair and a fair skin she's quiet tall which make her look like a model.

And there's Kelsey Vonna Vidal, the unexpected friend of ours. We were High School when we met Kelsey, lagi niya kong sinusungitan and she always saying bad things about me but at the end she confessed that she only want us to be friends daw and who am I to reject her? She's the Queen B after all. She's so gorgeous, I can't explain but she's nearly being perfect by having a sexy lips, almonds eyes, quiet unique nose and a perfect body but she's only 5'3 cute size. Her family is not in the business world, her mother is a flight attendant while her father is an engineer but her grand parents own some fragrance shop worldwide including France.

Inikot namin ang Mall mula sa iba't ibang clothing shop, hanggang sa nakarating na kami sa isang restaurant.

"I still don't get it, bakit ka ba bayad ng bayad when it's all free for you?" iritableng tanong ni Kelsey.

"Tsk Kel, how many times do I have to tell you, the mall is ours but not the shops. It's all branded you know and it cost someone's food for a days or maybe a week, so why would I take it for free? Malulugi kami if they'll pull out, just think of it." Mahinahong paliwanag ko.

Kanina pa kasi kami nag tatalo about sa pag babayad ko ng mga pinamili ko. Actually the manager of every stores insisted to take it without payment but it's not fair for me, I'm a costumer here so I should pay.

"That's enough, kanina pa kayo, may point naman si Sien and besides di naman ikaw ang nag babayad so why bother?" pag awat ni Mitch sa amin.  

That's her role, the referee because Kelsey is always against me but I already know her so that's not a big deal for me.

"Okay fine, lagi namang ako ang talo dito" kunyaring nag tatampong anito. "Alam mo girl sa sobrang lawak ng kaisipan mo baka umabot yan sa Mars bahala ka." Biro niya sa akin. Inilingan ko na lamang siya.

"You're too good Sien, natatakot lang ako para sa'yo na baka maabuso yan. I'm just concern here, cause I don't wanna lose a friend like you." paliwanag pa niya.

She always told me that I'm too good daw towards other people, I don't know why but I always feel bad about those who can't afford to buy what other people can, those who can't eat three times a day. My mom always told me when I was a child that kindness makes you beautiful so I used to be kind to everyone.

"Yeah right." Nailing na sagot ko sakanya. "Let's just eat, I'm hungry." I added. After that we decided to have a movie marathon at Kelsey's.

Time flies fast, it's Sunday and tomorrow will be the first day of my class to the University that we chose to enter for college. Mitch will be taking Business Ad of course she's going to manage their business. Kelsey will be taking Architecture 'coz she wants to be an interior designer someday, well it suits her. While me, I'm going take Hospitality Management where the Culinary is. Yes I want to be a Chef, asking why? 'Coz I want to build a restaurant where I can raise a fund to feed other people.

"Are you sure about taking Culinary Sienna Rayne?" asked mom while we are our eating dinner together.

"Yes mom." I answered and gave her a smile.

"Ayaw mo talagang mag Med school?" my mom asked with a sad face.

I apologetically looked at her. My both parents are Doctor and they are running their own Hospital and the Mall and Hotels at the same time it's my grandparents business but they are currently living at Spain to run their business there. My Grandmother is a Spanish but she studied here and my Grandfather is a pure  Filipino.

"Amanda just let her, she have her own life to handle and it's not ours so don't control her please." My dad said.

"Okay, I'm just asking her again." Buntong hininga niya.

"By the way Sienna Rayne, do you have any plan having a dorm or a condo?" my dad randomly asked.

I blinked, actually I'm not really thinking about having my own unit, gusto kong tumira kasama sila kahit they're not always here.

"I'm not sure about that, Dad." I honestly answered.

"Ok, just tell me anytime if you change your mind." he said

I just nodded at him.

After the dinner I decided to go to my room para matulog ng maaga dahil may klase na bukas.

I was just staring at the stars above the sky throughout the window. I wonder if it's real that they are glittering o dinadaya lang ako ng mga mata ko. Dahil hindi pa ako dinadalaw ng antok, I immediately get my phone and to my surpise it's past one already.

"Sheez!" I get up on my bed and hurriedly went to my study table where my wifi is, I'm going to turn it off when someone popped up on my phone.

"Chase?!" My eyes widened when I realized who it is. It is Chase Andrew Fuentes, my long time crush. I immediately open his message.

"Not aware of the time?"

"Sheez! Ano i-rereply ko?" I said to myself while my heart is beating so fast. "Chill Sien, it's just Chase." Yeah right Chase Andrew Fuentes the school heartthrob and your long time crush. How can I freaking chill?!

"Ahm, it's 1:26 am?" I replied innocently.

"What a lame reply Sien?" I asked myself while panicking.

"Yeah I know that young lady, what I mean is, Why you're still 'wake at this time? I heard you already have a class today?"

Gosh stop asking! it makes my heart beat so fast!

"Nothing, I just can't sleep." I answered casually.

"Btw, I heard you're going to take Physical Therapy?" I added.

"Yes, and I also heard that you'll take Culinary?"

How did he know about that?

"Yeah, how did you know?" I asked curiously.

"I have my ways." He replied.

Naalala ko agad na pinsan niya si Mitch. Oh it's Mitch, yeah Mitch.

"Goodnight Chef.<3" he added then logged out.

What was that? Goodnight Chef with a? Ugh you're making me confuse Chase Andrew Fuentes.
