"Have you gone dumb now?" Kim Ji-hun questioned as his gaze narrowed down at her. 

Feeling his anger, Jang Ma-Ri fiddled with her fingers a bit, showing just how guilty she was, and how afraid she was to face him.

Seeing her actions, Kim Ji-hun was able to guess the truth.

"When you get back inside, make sure you spill the truth to them. If I hear anyone misunderstanding our past relationship, things will definitely not go down well for you."

Leaving that threat behind, he walked to his car and got into the back passenger seat.

All Jang Ma-Ri could do was to remain standing in one spot and watch the car drive off, but as soon as the car was out of her sight, a deep sigh of relief escaped her lips.

Clutching her chest, she mumbled to herself, "Why is he so scary?"

Letting out another sigh, she turned around and walked back into the house.
