35 The trade

Silence followed as soon as Baek Su-Jin posed that question.

One second. Two seconds. Kim Ji-hun said nothing, which wasn't a surprise to her.

It was as if she had expected it but unknown to her, a weird thought was going through his mind.

Since that question was posed to him, Kim Ji-hun asked himself a question. 'Is there really anyone dear to me?' 

He highly doubted that.

Five seconds later, Baek Su-Jin exhausted her patience. "Mr. Kim, I think there is no longer a reason for this conversation to go…"

"I will meet your demands, go ahead to make them before you give me the details of Ji-Soo's flight." Kim Ji-hun interjected without letting her finish her words.

Hearing him reach an agreement with her in that confident tone, Su-Jin probed, "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I won't go back on my words as this is a serious affair."
