Every Step Was Taken With A Purpose

Oliver and Evelyn were sitting in the car, looking at the mansion before their eyes.

"Are you sure you want to do it?" Oliver asked as he looked at Evelyn, whose eyes were fixed on the door of the mansion.

"Maybe we can ask Mason for help. He is an expert in these types of things." Oliver's eyes were filled with hope.

"No," Evelyn turned as her gaze pierced Olivers. "This is my battle. Let me fight it alone."

Evelyn opened the door and went down of the car before she banged the door behind her.

"Hey, my poor car …." Oliver shouted as he saw Evelyn walking away from him. He shook his head in defeat.

'I need to keep my cool. Evelyn is angry. Keep it cool, Oliver. You can handle it.'

Oliver told himself repeatedly as he walked behind Evelyn like her tail. A short fear lingered in his heart of 'What will Eve do next?'

"Eve, I still think we should ask Mason abou …."
