THE REAL FIGHT

Anna did not have an assistant which meant that no one would carter for her during breaks. She stood in the scorching sun for a bit while Lillian, with her assistants, sneered at her.

They laughed at her predicament. Especially, Lillian, she was enjoying the others suffering way too much. She even wished that the sun would burn her to death!

Luckily, Feng Anxi, who had afternoon shoots had just arrived. In his hand was a black bag that held refreshments. He quickly told Lao Li (His assistant) to go over and hand them over to her while he went to speak to director Zheng.

Lao Li hurried with the bag, "Anna-Jie, here are some refreshments, Anxi has told me to pass you some," he said while wiping sweat off his brows, the sun was really too hot today.

Anna received the bag happily but her mouth said a different thing, "I am younger than you."

Lao Li who was a bit absent-minded turned to her, "What?"

Because he did not hear, Anna did not repeat. She was about to be twenty soon. Now that she thought about it, her birthday was only a week away!

How could she forget something so important!

She shook her head and took the low-calorie juices Feng Anxi had brought her. She handed some to Lao Li. The other happily thanked her while speedily undoing the cap to take a swig.

Anna took a big sip. The cold liquid rolled through her throat soothingly. She was sure to thank Feng Anxi well, he was seriously so thoughtful.

The scene started after a while.

General Rong stood while holding a sword. This was the actual action scene she was to shoot today. The props operator had already tied the suspension wires around them and soon the action began.

The air was chilly after General Rong unleashed her killing aura.

The set which was calm suddenly became constricting. Everyone who was watching the scene held their breaths.

General Rong had been maddened by the fact that these people looked down on her, a woman. She wanted to show them just how this woman would defeat them over and over again without giving them a chance to rise up from the dust!

She also wanted to teach that arrogant General Ming Yu a lesson he would never forget!

General Rong stood in the middle of enraged soldiers. They were mad at the fact that some unknown woman brazenly held a sword toward their beloved general. They looked at the soldier who had been slapped to unconsciousness and their anger bubbled up even more.

One soldier rushed out, "Aaaah!"

He brandished his sword toward the drunken general. His moves were swift and ruthless but before the sword came into contact with her body, she suddenly took two steps back, narrowly avoiding the sword.

The soldier looked up in shock. This was impossible. The soldier's Ming Yu took with him this time were the best of the best. The power those soldiers wielded was great.

General Ming Yu watched the scene with interest, 'so you are actually Rong Gu' he thought to himself.

Several more soldiers rushed out one after the other but it was as if the female general had become one with the wind. Her movements were swift while her sword danced elegantly.

No one could see how she moved but in an instant, all the soldiers were lying down, some were rolling down in pain.

In the middle, General Rong stood, as tall and unshakable as a tall mountain. Her clothes still remained impeccable while her hair was intact, it was as if she was simply taking a stroll and not fighting at all.

Director Zheng was so entranced that he forgot to yell CUT. He was initially worried that the scene could be too much for Anna but it seems that he had been worried for nothing.

The crew who was in charge of controlling the crane connected to the suspension wires coordinated smoothly with Anna and the scene was done beautifully.

Most action scenes needed several retakes but this one was simply fine as it was.

Through the camera lens, Director Zheng watched as the girl who was holding the sword walked toward General Ming Yu.

Zhan Yu's expressions were perfect. His reaction toward the oncoming devilish beauty was in line with what Director Zheng wanted.

Lillian, who saw this scene was stupefied, she knew that Anna could fight but she never knew that she was actually this good!

She turned and noticed that Harry Lu had somehow shown up and he too was staring at Anna as if he was transfixed.

Her anger bubbled up so much as she stared at Anna with dark eyes. Her scheming mind suddenly thought of something.

"You vixen! Just you wait!"
