The Bruise Looked Almost the Same

Chen Chen headed to kindergarten with a complicated feeling.

His mother was injured. She told them that it was an accident. Some people were fighting and his mother got caught in the fight when she was trying to stop them.

Xiao Xiao seemed to believe in their mother's words. However, Tang Chen was skeptical. He had a feeling that his mother was not telling them the truth.

He knew that his mother's cheek hurt so much.

"Tang Chen!"

The cheery voice snapped him out of his trance. Tang Chen looked up and saw that his classmate, Zhuang Yan was smiling brightly at him.

Tang Chen pursed his lips. 

He noticed that Zhuang Yan often came to look for him.

"Tang Chen, what are you doing?" Zhuang Yan asked. "What are you thinking about? You seemed to be worrying about something."

Zhuang Yan's words made him lower his head. 

He was often told that he liked to worry. He now has to hear the same thing from his classmate.
