19 She's? Here?!

I just lost her

I don't know what to feel.

No words to describe what just happened

My world world felt like it was the end

Like I fell from the highest building

Don't know where to start really

I'm now beside her tomb. It's been a day. Yet my tears are falling unconsciously. I wanted them to stop. But why? Why do they keep falling, I wanted to be strong for myself, but I can't.

I always thought that, life would be happy when I have Gradgie which is true. Everything looked perfect while she was there. No problems, just joy, but what now, that I lost her.

I went to the kitchen to drink a water.

While I was pouring water on my glass I heard a voice of a old woman

"You see she mentioned that she has a beautiful granddaughter, her granddaughter is filled with joy, no sadness will mark in her face" She said

I looked at her

"I'm sorry, may I ask who are you?" I asked

"My name is Eleanor, you know Gradgie won't like seeing you like this right?" she asked

I nodded

"So you should wipe those tears, your Gradgie is now in a better place a peaceful place, and you didn't lose her darling. She's in there" She said and pointed at my chest

I wiped my tears and spoke

"Thank you. How did you know Gradgie, I mean, how did you guys met?" I asked

Trying to be strong, Eleanor is right, Gradgie won't like seeing me like this, she doesn't like seeng a frown in my face.

I just, miss her so much.

Eleanor spoke

"I'm your Gradgie's best friend. We met at college, and she always mentioned you to me when we talked in the phone." She said

"What did she say about me exactly?" I asked

She combed her hair and held my hand

"That her granddaughter, is a beautiful, happy woman. That you are the most precious thing that happened to her, you know she can't afford to lose you too. But take this as your new journey. That even she is gone. You can see her. Maybe in a dream, a memory, a glimpse. She will never leave you, and believe me, they come back, in the most unexpected ways"She said and smiled

"I shall take my leave now" She added

She took her sunglass and left.

I'm confused about her words, I don't know but, what I am certain, is there is something she wants me to know.

like a mystery, a puzzle, I need to solve. But what.

I went back beside Gradgie.

My heart won't stop missing her.

Then dad sat in a chair parallel to mine.

"You need to eat too sweetheart" He said

"I'm not hungry" I replied

"But your body is, you maybe not hungry, but how about your body?"

He looked at me straight and I did the same

Then Vida barged in carrying a plate of rice and fried chicken....

"For you" She said and smiled

"Thank you Vida" I said

"Your welcome" She replied, smiled and left.

"The funeral will be three days from now. I know the pain you feel inside, I lost people I loved also, but it will heal, believe me. The pain shall be gone, but not her."He said

People here are trying hard comforting me.

I just thank them and smiled

While tears are falling to my cheeks

Hours have passed and I found my self in my bed, I must have fallen asleep.

I stood up to fetch some water
