Pay With What's Your Kindness?

Civil Registry Office, City M

In the afternoon, around three o'clock, Gretta came to Brian at the office where the man worked.

This time she came herself according to her words to Chiko, the bodyguard she also considered a close person for now.

She got off the motorbike she was riding in order to get to this government office quickly. Then pay the fare, when she finally arrived right at the terrace of her destination office.

"Just keep the change," Gretta said as she handed her the bill that left the excess.

"Thank you, Miss," said the driver with an embarrassed face when she saw the beautiful passenger again.

Gretta didn't reply too much, she just nodded and turned around immediately, then walked towards the office door with a few curious looking on.

Luckily the office hours were over, so there weren't many people passing by in the lobby that she passed.

She without asking where Brian was immediately walked into the man's room, because she already had an appointment before actually approaching.

Before long, a door with a one-way glass came into view and she immediately knocked a little loudly.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Creak!

The door opened, Brian was the one who opened it and gave her a small smile.

"Come in! But I'm sorry, I'm already going home, your card was also left in my apartment. So if you want me to leave it to Chiko or you come with me, I'll take it," Brian said as he opened the door.

Gretta nodded, then entered what Brian said and shook her head when she heard the man's question at the end of the sentence.

"No need, I'll take it all at once. I also need you with me, so I purposely came to you alone instead of with Chiko," said Gretta explaining.

"Oh! Okay, I'll listen to what you want. But when we go home, okay, take your new ID card, Nanda," said Brian, nodding in understanding.

"Yeah, I'll go with you," Gretta said curtly.

"Yes, wait for me, sit down first, afraid of being tired," Brian ordered with a small smile on his face.

"Yes."

After that, Gretta just watched in silence what the man was doing. Starting from turning off the computer, tidying up something on the work desk, to wearing a coat to cover the official clothes that looked right on the man's body.

None of this escaped Gretta's blue eyeball which started, appraising.

Until finally Brian reprimanded her, still smiling and this time complete with a briefcase in his hand.

"Nan, I'm done! Sorry, if it's long and makes you wait," said Brian with an uncomfortable face.

"It's ok, it's normal. But don't apologize if you can," said Gretta, giving a teasing smile.

"Wow! So, what are you using to apologize?" Brian asked with a chuckle afterwards, looking even more handsome with white skin without the five o'clock shadow on that groomed face.

"What... Maybe a little help," Gretta replied as she joined her thumb and forefinger into a measuring shape.

"Ok, ok, let's go home first and I'll listen to what you mean a little help," said Brian nodding, then opened the door to his room and let Gretta out first with a gentle smile. "Lady's first."

"Thanks," Gretta muttered, smiling shyly.

Brian winked, then closed the door and walked with Gretta while occasionally having a casual conversation.

It was obvious that Brian was really good at treating women, that's why Chiko didn't want to know that Gretta had gone to meet this man herself.

Hey! Chiko is a boy and likes Gretta, who would be happy when a woman wants to meet another man, especially how he knows his own friend.

Then Gretta, she was made to remember what Chiko said, about the handsome Brian and all that stuff.

However, from all Chiko's worried words, Gretta only remembers the part of the reminder sentence.

{Don't let me know, if you guys do play, that's all.}

What does that mean anyway, Chiko, thought Gretta amused.

She flinched slightly when Brian ushered her into the car, quite luxurious for its size who had owned a limited edition car.

"Come in Nan!"

"Ah! Yes, thanks."

Slam!

Brian himself immediately walked quickly to the other door, then got into the car with a loud thud remaining.

Slam!

Vrumm!

Brian's apartment

It didn't take long for Brian to drive his own car. Now, he has arrived in the basement of the apartment where he usually parks the car.

"Have you had dinner yet? Want me to order something?" Brian offered as he unbuckled his seat belt followed by Gretta next to him.

"Whatever. As long as it's not fast food, I'm on a diet," Gretta said and a chuckle was heard after that.

A chuckle from Brian, who found it funny what the beautiful woman next to him said.

"What other diet, Nanda? It's good, really," said Brian praising.

"Must stay in shape, Brian."

"Yes, yes, you just choose it later when you get inside," said Brian in the affirmative, relenting.

Gretta smiled contentedly at that, then went downstairs as the man asked her to get out of the car and then walked together towards the elevator.

Ding!

The elevator reached the floor where Brian was staying, the man led the way and opened a door, with a number Gretta remembered well when he asked her to remember.

"Remember that! Who knows if you need or miss seeing me next time."

"Huh! What the hell missed you," said Gretta before finally chuckling along with the owner of the apartment who invited her in.

"Yeah, who knows."

"Yeah, yeah."

Creak!

Slam!

After that, in the corridor there was only the thumping of the door with the rest of the laughter being swallowed.

Arriving inside, Gretta was brought to sit on a white sofa with a glass table adorning the living room.

"Wait here, I'll take your ID card first, Nanda."

"Yes."

The man's back drifted further away and disappeared with a door opening and closing, leaving Gretta just looking at the tabletop without any interest in looking at anything else.

Creak!

The door opened again after a few minutes, Brian came out with his coat that had been taken off and left his official shirt with his strong sleeves visible.

Brugh!

"Here, your new identity card, Chiko has also said for privacy protection in this new identity. Don't worry, no one will find anything if you are not observant in your new data, if someone is curious about you."

Brian's long explanation nodded in understanding by Gretta.

Gretta took the card that Brian held out and read it with a small smile.

Finally, she can live with her own choices and be herself freely too.

"Thanks for your help, what should I pay for it?" Gretta asked, looking at Brian with a happy face.

"Nothing. I'm just helping, nothing more, Nanda," Brian said with a small smile.

"You're good, Brian."

"Not really, ha-ha.... So, what do you want, Nanda? What little help do you mean in the office over there?"

"I...."
