Chapter 1- Say my name

*rain pouring outside*

With all the thunder rumbling and a girl running for help shouting "Min Yeong ah help please.. "sweats, and she hears the sound of a hammer screeching through the walls. The horrifying sensation she felt while she heard her scream "MIN YEONG AH PLEASE HELP ME" . she could sense the fear and pain in her voice , she herself felt suffocated inside that dark room ,why isn't anyone helping her ?. Why can't I help her ,she thought to herself. Was she the bad one who couldn't even help her friend or was it just a stranger crying for help , she felt so helpless and she could feel her hands go numb. The vocal cords were frozen and she wanted to scream too but every time she tried the words just couldn't get out .The screaming stopped !Just then she could see a visible light and that dark shadow approaching her too . She was terribly frightened ..shivering in darkness " Where is the crying girl, Did the man killed her, or did she ran away". A man says- " Our Min Yeong is big enough too, Now its your turn" "No ,stay away please. Stay away".

Its been six years already , the nightmares just doesn't go away. All these years after trying every possible way Min Yeong and her dad always find themselves in this tragic situation where they cannot do anything to help her with these nightmares . The amount of pain she feels everytime she hears the girl in her dreams screams out her name is unimaginable , all these years she cries out loud in sleep but couldn't find the answers waking up.

"Min Yeong ah wake up ,why are you sweating so much" says her father Kim Hyunwoo

"did you have another nightmare again?"

"yeah, the same one again ,what can it actually mean dad?"

"I am so sorry sweetheart, we tried everything we could but that nightmare just don't go away "

"Its okay Dad , I'll be fine this time "

She knew she wasn't fine, all she could hear was her crying . The dark following her around ,she always felt like it was a monster who swallowed up the girl in her dreams. Was it real or was it just a dream, in all these times she missed her mother so much. Her father was enough for her but just for once she wishes her mother to be there and save the little girl in her dreams too. Doctors, therapists all the efforts in all these years she just couldn't get rid of the dreams. Every time there's that girl again crying and shouting out for help , Min Yeong felt the guilt in her heart . Why did she felt like she was the reason that monster ate her . "why can't I help her? " "How does she knows my name ?" " Did I even want to help her ?" . All this un answered questions , the same repeated dreams , the same uncompleted dream . she didn't know if it was real or not , but whenever she hears her scream it felt so real. Min Yeong can never get that little girl's voice out of her head , the way she cries out her name for help will always giver her chills.

"I need to get dressed for school, he will be here soon"

"Who, Your Boyfriend?"

"DAD.."

"Min Yeong ah when will you tell him huh?"

"Um probably ... never"

"yahhh"

"Soon Dad ,soon"

Min Yeong lost her mother when she was eleven, all she has was her dad who works as a manager in a restaurant in Seoul owned by Cho Han-Gyeol . Who is also a father of her best friend Cho Young-Soo. Min Yeong and Youngsoo have been friends since they first met at their school at the age of twelve . Best friends since then. Young soo knew about her nightmares , fortunately he is the only one who can make her feel better every single morning. He was like a morning sunshine in her dark night, she could feel her pain lessen while she was with him . Unknowingly she fell in love with him . Love a very strong word for both of them, they have been friends since forever and at this point she is not even sure if he likes her .

*cycle bell ringing*

"YAHHH..Sleepy head are you still on bed"

"ughh nooo i am ready" Min Yeong says while stuffing her mouth with bread

"How many times do i have to tell you ,You have to pick me up on Mondays."

"Mian-Hae, just this time "

"treat me on lunch"

"done"

"um Young soo ah "

"yes?" "I have to tell you something "

"what is it?"

" I..."

"...."

"I ... was thinking we should go and see the game today"

"oh okay, you looked like you were about to say something important

"Why ,did you expect something important, what did u think it was?" .. " Nothing i just thought you would confess it ."

" Co..Confess ?" Min Yeong speaks out... "Confess about what ?"

"That how handsome I look today "

Min Yeong scoffs " You wish !".. " NO I was about to tell you how I feel "

"About what ?" ..."um nothing, Let's gooo"

" Hey about whattt ? " Young soo shouts out while she takes her cycle away .
