37 Nightmare
He changed so much from the time they met who almost dragged her out of his house. These changes made her heart feels warm but she was also very leery.
Though he still looked at her in the sullen and sometimes cold face, she cannot deny that he did treat her so good to the point like she felt very important to him.
Thump thump thump... She took a deep breath feeling her heart racing faster and faster.
She is really feeling anxious at her predicament. He is too great, too good, and too many too much that she felt undoubtingly scared out of her wits.
She doesn't have anything to be proud of, no family, no education. She is not talented, not a genius, and does not possess special skills. Her beauty is also considered too ordinary compared to the women around him and her height is even shorter than the standard woman in Asia.
She will only feel insecure if she will really fall on him and will always be anxious if he is not around her. These feelings will drain her rationality if ever.
She breathes in and out to relieve the stuffiness in her heart. She doesn't want that kind of relationship. She was so scared that her heart might fall really on his charm to the point of no turning back.
She might fight back no matter what. However, she cannot rack her brain to think of a way since she still lives with him, and moving out is definitely out of the table. Also, he is too flirtatious around her. How can she beat him in this game?
She cannot harbour hope that it is possible as long as she will be good on him. This kind of relationship is the same as a work contract with a pre-determined ending. It can be broken anytime or re-new or end it at the specified date.
As an ordinary woman with no family, her greatest dream is to have a complete family and a house that she can call home. She wanted better for herself and future children.
She doesn't need to live in a castle. She just needs a warm home. She doesn't need to have an outstanding and rich husband. She only wants a responsible, loyal, and loving husband that could understand her world and love her and their children until old age.
Of course, money is very important, but they can always work hard for their future. As long as they can have food always on the table, have saved money on their bank account and can travel at least once or twice a year, it would be good enough for them to live a happy life.
This is why she has been so careful all these years. She doesn't want to take the relationship lightly and not be too aggressive on it.

She has some colleagues who were left by their boyfriend after finding another girl, or after messing up with them after a few months. If she can look at things in a rational way, it's possible for her to avoid the same ending.
Also, Tom had helped her already in many ways. How can she be greedy to think only for herself and not for him? How can she allow other people to mock him because of her existence? In this life, she might not have the chance to help him but at least she must not bring any harm to him until the end of their contract or at least until he no longer wants her by his side.
Other women might see this as an opportunity to cling onto him but for her, this kind of thinking is too one-sided. Reality is never easy and simple so it shouldn't take it as a fairy tale. Though their marriage was so sudden and bound by contract, she doesn't want to implicate him in any way. This is the very least she can do for him so in her heart, she decided to keep their marriage hidden no matter what.
Since she was exhausted, Sab still drifted off to sleep in no time feeling empty. Maybe because of this that she dreamed that she was happily walking at the clear blue-green shore as her long hair being blown by the fresh and cold wind while holding a warm big hand.
She can't help but admire and be proud of the muscular chest of the man beside her. She felt so happy and contented when she was suddenly pushed down to the ground by him and started to walk away.
She was so confused that her smile froze for a few seconds and realizing that the man was leaving her behind, she tried to get up but her legs suddenly has no strength at all as if it was not there.
She tried to call him but the man did not stop. He did not even look back no matter how many times she called his name.
She felt hurt but unsure where. Closing her eyes, she imagines that everything was just a bad dream... a bad dream that once she opens her eyes, everything will be alright.
She still felt the warm hand of the man who just walks away. She was hoping that he will return and hold her again but then everything turns black when she opened her eyes.
Creep surrounded her body and she felt all alone and lonely. She closed her eyes again and this time, she did it for a long time and tried to wake up from the nightmare. When she decided to open her eyes, it wouldn't open as if it was sealed. No matter how she struggles inside, her body kept unmoved. All she could do is asked for help repeatedly. When she woken-up, she was laying in a large comfy bed again panting.
"What was that? Who is that man? What is his name again?" Sab tried to recall the man's face and the name but couldn't.
She buried her small pale face in her petite hands. "That was weird. Also, that guy... who is he? It seems she never met that man yet. So weird. Who is he?"
Outside the CEO's office, there are two security guards guarding the hallway. Alvin received a call from one of the Mall representatives they are set to have a collaboration. He went back to give an update but heard a noise inside. He immediately turns around when realizing what was going on.
Their boss really has changed since he met Sab. Actually, aside from her poor background, for him, she is not that bad. She is very independent and hardworking.
Her temperament was also good. She treats everyone equally and with respect. For her age, she should have been playing more like other normal youngsters, but because of her background, she matured earlier than others.
Aside from her age, she acts like a real adult will act but you can still trace the purity and innocence. Anyway, his boss is already strong enough. He doesn't need another strong family background.
If Sab could really subdue their boss and help them cooling the hell a little better, he promises to support Sab and their boss relationship. However, this kind of wish seems like asking for the moon to turn to violet that it will never happen even in his next reincarnation.
Bing and Ana keep on checking the security personnel assigned. They stood there quite a few meters away. So even if they tried to over drop what's happening inside, they are unable to do so.
"I need to give this document to our CEO, please move away," Bing asked in a threatening manner.
"Please pass the document to Sir. Alvin. We can't let you pass."
"Why not? You are preventing us to do our job. Do you want our CEO to get angry because you won't let us pass?
The security was unhappy but did not bother to answer. It was obvious this woman has a princess attitude and looking down on him. In their job, this was not the first time meeting this kind of treatment. Nonetheless, he still felt unhappy.
His job is very decent and the salary is not that bad. He can still give his wife and son a decent life. He doesn't understand why some other people still think they are above them and treat them with little or no respect at times.
For this type of woman, it would be better not to involve in verbal conversation if he doesn't want things to get out of hand.
Bing is fuming in anger seeing that she was being ignored. He's just a security guard but he dared to act tough on her. Doesn't he know the difference in their status?
"It won't take long, can you not let me pass? This document is very important and urgent," she urges but she was ignored again.
