38 Deserves a little reward

Bing returned to her desk angrily seeing that she will not be able to get closed at the CEO's office no matter what. Ana came in immediately and inquire about it. After hearing what happened, Ana's face also contorted at the attitude of the two security.

Ana has a similar attitude and point of view. That's why in the office, they are particularly closed and would often tell each other a secret so it was given that Ana despises also the two security. No one ever thought that she is a manipulative bitch. Despite being young and behind her innocent looks is a scary vixen.

Since both of them think highly of themselves and treated Sab a lowly person, they have disregarded the possibility of her having a secret relationship with their boss. For them, Sab is too plain and ordinary with poor character, no skills at all, and adding her in the competition would be a big insult on them who were 2nd heir generations.

They take note to pay more attention to Sab in the future and if given a chance, they will surely reveal the mask of this despicable woman and kick her out of the company. They do not believe that this woman will be able to conceal her true color for that long. Sab got a suspension for 1 week and for the past 2 days, she stayed at home doing anything that can make her busy. However, Auntie Myrna did not allow her to help much so she would usually just watch TV or movies and play with her cellphone.

When she received a call from an old lady whom she was working part-time before and asked her for help on that day, she immediately accepted without thinking much and rushed to the store.

It is only for a few hours anyway and will be able to get back before dawn. It is good to be productive than to stay at home doing nothing. She tends to be very physically active due to several part-time jobs but now that she is not, she somehow missed it.

Though she did not gain weight yet, she felt that if this drag for too long, she will surely gain weight and it would be difficult for her to lose weight later on. She remembers having many muscles and fats during her younger years. Thanks to these part-time jobs that she doesn't need to think of it now. Being very active helps her metabolism improves a lot.

The money she will earn will be added to her savings again. Thinking of the amount she had saved up to now, she felt very thrilled. It was her first time to have such amount on her bank account. Previously, she was obliged to pay so many bills and support her Auntie Lina that's why she really struggles to save money no matter how many jobs she accepts.

But now, everything is being paid by Tom even her skincare was brought by him. That's why even in a short period of time, she was able to save up a good amount of money. Of course, this might not be considered huge money compared to others or Tom, but in her case, it is an achievement, and its something she can be proud of. Thinking of this, she felt that Tom deserves a little reward and promise to prepare a gift the next day.

After a short briefing, Sab changed into the store uniform. Though the job is considered menial, she had missed doing it because she doesn't need to be too cautious around her co-workers that they will play tricks and bring harm to her. Keeping the guard up all the time is more tiring than physical exhaustion.

When she is at Tom's office, she feels sometimes that she doesn't belong there and that she is in a different world. However, that's the only flaw. She is learning so much in her job as a secretary. It has a great environment and paying way better in combination with her several jobs.

True enough, that you cannot get everything at a time. Reality will never allow things to be perfect. Though it did not give her happiness and satisfaction working with Tom, it will help her build a better future. As of now, she is choosing to sacrifice these unwanted negative feelings for a few months or at least a year so she can move on better afterward in life.

Sab's job is not difficult at all. She will just need to fix or refill the items on the grocery rack during idle time and work in the cashier counter when there's a customer. The convenience store is not that big so she can easily see everything.

Her work started smoothly when an intoxicated guy entered the store. He seems to be normal though you can smell the reek from his body even she was few steps away from him. She pretended to be busy in the counter and did not attempt to look the man directly.

In her peripheral vision, she could see that he was looking at her direction for a couple of minutes before picking-up something in the rack and proceed to pay for it. The man strikes a conversation with Sab. Though it seems a friendly conversation, she still not comfortable answering them.

Actually, the man has no plan on buying in the store. He saw the cashier's face from a clear window and thought that she was very beautiful. Her light brown hair blends well on her small youthful and fresh face.

Even wearing an ugly uniform, he can still trace her great figure. Her bare face was so pleasant to look at that's why he decided to go in and check if his vision wasn't lying and was thrilled when he saw that his vision was correct.

Under the influence of alcohol, he becomes very generous with his compliments and did not hesitate to show his intentions. "You're very beautiful. Are you new here?"

Sab smiled a little but did not answer and try to complete the transactions as soon as possible. However, the man keeps adding something if he sees it that she's almost done.

"How old are you? Do you have a boyfriend?"

Still no answer from Sab.

"What is your number? Or you WeChat so we can chat sometimes?"

"I have a place near here. I'm a good cook. Can I invite you for dinner later?"

"Sir, the total is $XXX.XX. Are you going to pay it in cash or credit card?"

The man's face turned ugly hearing Sab's reply. This is obviously an indirect reply that she is not interested in him. Why??? He doesn't look that bad and he has money too. He just came from a bar and a lot of girls came to him because they know he is not a bad catch. She is only a cashier in a convenience store but dared to disrespect him.

"You can speak but you never answered any of my questions. Did you not hear what I said a while ago? Is the employee here this disrespectful? Do you wish to get fired?" The man did not hold back since he is the only customer at that time.

Sab sigh internally feeling very unlucky. The last time she got this kind of customer is when she was 17 yrs old at a restaurant. She was so frightened back then since she has no idea how to diffuse the situation and her boss at that time treats customers like a king. She ended running away from that restaurant and was fired on the same day.
