31 Conflicted feelings!

She hates dramas and doesn't really want to get involved with this kind of conflict.

She wanted to explain and clear her name but she felt being choked every time she tried to speak.

She wants to tell the two that everything is just a misunderstanding. That she doesn't have any desire to stay in Tom's life.

That if given a choice, she will flee far away from him. But thinking of not seeing him again made her mood unpleasant. In the end, she is unable to respond at all.

Linda walked elegantly and looked at her with a smug face. Since Linda is naturally tall and still choose to wear a 5inch heels, she was literally looking down on Sab.

"You better not show your face again here or I'll make sure to crash anyone who will try to steal my man," she declared.

Jenny who is keeping her silence smirk and laugh in low voice, trying to implicate something and provoke the other party.

Linda and Jenny both raised their eyebrows as their gaze met.

Jenny's face is full of ridicule. This woman keeps flaunting her relationship with Tom when the man himself never recognized it.

Does she think that if she spread these false rumors will make other women intimidated and give up?

"You guys continue to talk. I'm just here because I want to give personally an answer to Tom that I am free tomorrow and agree to have dinner with him," Jenny said proudly.

Sab: "..."

Linda: "..."

"Oh... Linda right? Since you are very close to Tom, please pass my message to him."

Linda's face turned white to green.. Green to red and red to purple.

Her eyes were burning from anger. She intended to step on the two women's pride at the same time but didn't expect this woman to retaliate, a mere employee.

Looking closely at Jenny's graceful movements and postures plus the branded clothes and jewelry which she was very familiar with, she knew this woman was no ordinary, might be within her circle.

Most likely has the same character as her. Stubborn, very competitive and will never accept a no for an answer.

However, her name will not be Linda if she is unable to handle this kind of situation. She has long been prepared for this. It just that she did not expect to face it at this early stage.

Tom is still too aloof on her. If she makes a ruckus or does anything that will infuriate him later, her chance to be by his aside will only become thinner.

However, she can't just stand and watch her man being snatched by anyone. There is no hell way she will allow this to happen under her nose.

Linda raised her chin proudly. "I will not do what you said. Instead, I will tell Tom to fire you. So no need to wait for him, I'll satisfy him tonight and every day so he won't need to look for a vixen and slut." She smiled smugly then went to the couch and sat like a queen.

Jenny was furious at Linda's shamelessness. Though she knew that those words were empty and full of lies, she can't help her imagination run wild, clouding her mind and heart with anger and jealousy.

Sab was socked on the other hand. She blinked a few times to make sure she was not imagining things.

Her impression on Linda turns 180 degrees. She was supposed to be demure, very feminine, with the highest standard of moral and very pure. How can she say those words without feeling shy?

She speaks as if she's very experienced. Hearing it openly made her cheeks red already but this woman looks very proud as if she's telling how great the weather today.

However, what she said might be true or can really happen in the future. Thinking of Tom kissing, touching and making love with another woman, her lips pursed in a line.

Soon, Linda and Tom will rekindle their relationship. When this happens, she must give way and wish both the best and bless them with healthy and loveable kids.

If not Linda, it might be someone with similar statuses like Jenny or another woman in their circle that can match Tom's personality and status.

Though they are married legally, she's just a wife by paper, a contractual wife. "Will we divorce early? Or will it drag until the contract ends?"

She was only hired as an aid temporarily and help him eliminate unwanted women around him. But once he founds someone he really likes, her service is no longer needed.

Why does she often forget her role? She might have really lost her mind these past few days. She wanted to bang her head for that.

But in her heart, she doesn't regret whatever happened between them. She will not be able to change anything anyway so she doesn't want to blame anyone. It just that she felt a little sad because her first was not given to her real partner in life.

Will my future partner can accept someone like me? Will he blame me? Thinking of this, she didn't realize that her expression turns ugly.

Jenny was supposed to retaliate when the office door opened.

Automatically, Linda and Jenny stood up straight at the sight of Tom. Even with a gloomy face, his charm did not lessen even a bit. Instead, it made him more attractive and appealing. He is considered tall than average men at 185 cm and though he is suited up, it cannot hide that he has lean and well build muscles inside. He is like a prince charming in every woman's heart. Both Jenny and Linda were breathless the moment he appeared.

Sab did not notice his arrival as she was engrossed in her own thoughts.

Tom frowned seeing Sab's pale face. He looked at the other two women blankly.

Linda gazed to become conflicted, similar to a person who had been wronged but cannot tell anything. She looks like someone that had been bullied, far from being an overbearing and loose woman awhile ago.

Tom gave a signal to Alvin ignoring the two women. He stands in front of Sab instead and raised her chin.

Sab return to her senses, she wanted to push Tom but remembered one of the clauses in the contract. She needs to help him eliminate any unwanted women.

"Are you alright?" he asked in a concerned voice which made Sab caught off guard.

"Was he acting? Or he really thinks she was bullied that's why he sounds concerned? She believes it's the first one. Whatever... he can do whatever he wants. She has no way and no confidence to deal with these beautiful women if she'll be relying on her own ability only. There is no way she could win against them."

Sab pursed her pale lips and smiled a little then shook her head in response.

Alvin was shocked at Tom's gesture. He did not expect that he will be so open in front of other people especially in front of his ex-girlfriend.

He immediately dialed the security office and hangs up after giving an instruction. Though Tom looks unconcerned at the two uninvited women, this is actually far from reality.

He had punished and fired several employees who entered his office without a direct order from himself. He doesn't care if the person is from Upper Management or not. That's why this rule is strictly being followed by everyone.

Aside from confidential documents, Tom hates when people stepping in his territory. For him, the office is the extension of his home so he hates people when they cross the line.

Other than himself, no one is allowed to enter even her own mother. She must follow the same protocol if she wants those dates to happen.

Linda felt a pang in her heart seeing how caring Tom is at the lowly secretary. However, she was not buying it.

She believes that Tom was doing it in purpose to get back at her for abandoning him for so many years.

In her heart, she believes that Tom hates her that much because he also cannot let go of his feelings for her.

But if she works hard and be persistent, she'll get his love back again. When this happens, she will never take him for granted again and he'll be her first priority moving forward.

"I need to speak to you, very important," Linda said hurting and anxiously. She wanted to grab the man to her side but stopped herself.

She would rather suffer a little now than destroy any possibility to be with Tom. Later once everything is settled, she will make sure this lowly secretary will be gone forever.

Also if she made any schene now, she was afraid that the security officers will really drag away immediately.

When that happens, her image will be ruined and their real status will be revealed to everyone. She was no longer loves fiance or childhood sweetheart but becomes a laughing stock.

Jenny also has the same analysis. She believes that Tom has a reason. Definitely not because he is romantically involved or interested to a mere secretary. Everyone could possibly have an affair but not Tom. He is at different levels and also too smart to be trapped.

Also, Sab is only beautiful a little from ordinary women. But compared to them, she is too ordinary in any way so it would be impossible for Tom to like her for real.

Nonetheless, she felt jealous and wish she was the one being held and look at by Tom. But then she kept her silence trying to be invisible as much as possible.

Linda smirked at Jenny's awkward reaction. She knew that this woman was only bluffing a while ago but she will not let her go.

"Oh, by the way, Jenny wanted to tell you that she cannot make it to your dinner appointment tonight because of another engagement!" Linda said as if she is helping Jenny to pass an important message.

She looked at her and smiled a little as if giving her the courage to speak up to Tom.

Tom observes Sab's reaction but failed since she was looking down the whole time.

Jenny's face turned pale and feel like digging a hole to hide in but at the same time, she wanted to rip off the smile on Linda's face.

This woman only looks innocent and pure outside but very vicious. At least she knew already her opponent's character. She'll definitely get back to her one day, doubled or multiple times if given a chance.

"I'm sorry for barging in your office without permission from you. I'll accept whatever consequences. I'll take my leave first." Jenny did not give Tom a chance to expose her lies and said it in one breath then left the room immediately without waiting for approval.
