36 Now, We Are Officially Married!

Her grandfather heard her words. He thought for a while and said "Fine! You can finish your high school, but after that you will marry the person whom I tell you to marry."

Yu Qi was surprised by her grandfather's words. She instantly became happy upon knowing that her grandfather had given her permission to finish her high school.

She immediately got up from her kneeling position and hugged her grandfather. "Thank you soo much, grandpa."

Her grandfather told her few more rules and regulations which she was to follow when in high school.

Nevertheless, she obeyed all his rules and soon her three years passed in a jiffy.

She was walking inside the school corridor, when a voice came from behind her "There you are, Yu Qi."

Yu Qi turned around to see her best friend, Eun Jung running towards her. Eun Jung came and hugged her. "What are you doing over here?? We have to go the auditorium."

Dragging her by her hand, Eun Jung took her to the auditorium. The hall was already filled with students as there was too much chaos. Everyone laughed and cheered as they remembered their old moments.

Until the graduation ceremony got completed, Yu Qi had only one thought in mind. Her promise.

She wondered as to who her grandfather would make her marry to. Of course, she too had dreamt of a handsome guy, a guy like her class president, Lee Yo Han. Yo Han was not only her class president, he was her crush. Every time, she used to see him, she would blush.

Eun Jung also knew about her crush, so whenever he used to walk from beside her or something, she used to tease Yu Qi.

Yu Qi had always dreamt to be with Yo Han for at least once in her lifetime, but just like her doctor's dream, this dream too shattered.

She never told him about her love and he never got to know about it.

After the graduation ceremony, Yu Qi and Eun Jung said each other goodbye. This was their last time meeting at school, but, this wasn't their last meeting of their life.

Yu Qi and her brother, Min Chul went back home together always, so right now also, she was waiting for her brother to come. She stood in front of her school gate, holding her phone in her hand.

Her phone vibrated and she looked at it, a message came from her grandfather "A black limousine will be arriving soon, get in it."

The moment she finished reading the message, a black limousine came and stood in front of her.

Opening the front door, a man in black suit came out and said "Please, get in, madam."

She questioningly looked at the man in the black suit. Although he was wearing sunglasses, she stared at him questioningly.

"Your grandfather told me to escort you." The man said.

He then opened the door for her. Song Yu Qi sat inside the big limo. Opening her phone, she called her grandfather.

Her grandfather picked up "Did you get in ??"

"Yes, I did. But what is with the big limo?? You could have just sent a Porsche or a normal car. Ahh!! It's garnering too much attention."

"It's not mine."

She got another surprise, when her grandfather told her that the car wasn't his.

"Not yours??" She asked.

"You will know it soon." Her grandfather said and hung up the phone.

Her phone vibrated again and it was a message from her brother. "I'll be late. You go home."

Replying an okay, she laid her head on the seat. Too much had happened lately. But, she was also curious to know where she was heading to.

So, she tried to scoop some answers from the person driving the car. However, the man had kept his mouth shut and didn't utter a single word, forget about words he didn't even nod.

30 minutes later, the big limo stopped in front of a building. Song Yu Qi looked at the name of the building written in bold letters "Civil Affairs Bureau"

Seeing those big bold letters, she immediately got out of the car, before the driver and asked him "Why are we at a Civil Affairs building??"

"..." The driver didn't say anything and headed inside.

She followed behind him while asking many questions but, she received the same response like before.

"What took you guys so long to arrive??" She heard a familiar sound. It was her grandfather's voice.

"Grandpa!!" She ran towards him.

"Why are we over here in a Civil Affairs Building??" She asked annoyed.

"Didn't you make a promise three years back??" Her grandfather asked while looking at her sternly.

"I did. But, why today?? I mean, it's my graduation day, my friends and I had decided to part..."

Before she could complete her sentence, she was interrupted by a manly voice "I'm sorry!! I'm late."

A handsome good looking man wearing a navy blue suit entered the Civil Affairs building. Seems like he had came over here running as his hair were disheveled.

Yu Qi saw the man as he greeted her grandfather. She didn't say anything but just looked at him blankly.

Different questions ran through her mind as her eyes lingered on the man greeting her grandfather.

She broke out of her trance when her grandfather spoke "Lee Min Jae, now that you are here, proceed with the work."

'So, his name is Lee Min Jae. Awe, that's a lovely name for a handsome man.' Yu Qi thought in her mind.

Her mind started to imagine various fantasies with Lee Min Jae. The devil in her mind said 'He is so handsome.' While the good angel in her mind said 'No, you already have someone whom you like, it's Lee Yo Han.'

'What Lee Yo Han, he never spared a look at her??' The devil said to the angel.

'It was because she never said her feelings to him.' The angel said to the devil.

'It's Lee Min Jae.'

'No, It's Lee Yo Han.'

'Min Jae.'

'Yo Han.'

"Just stop it you two!!" Yu Qi yelled at the two angrily unaware that her voice had gotten heard by the two people talking to one another.

Her grandfather looked at her in surprise "What are those manners, Yu Qi??"

Yu Qi gave an I'm-sorry look to her grandfather. "I didn't say it to you two. Please continue." She signaled them to continue with her hands and turned around in embarrassment.

Tapping on her head, she murmured 'Just be quite, you two!!'

Meanwhile, Lee Min Jae gave a smirk as he observed.

After signing all the papers, the woman who sat at the desk said "Now, you both are husband and wife." She handed two red colored certificates to them. "This is your marriage certificate."

Song Yu Qi couldn't actually believe that she got married. She thought marriage would be a long procedure, but it just got over in a few minutes. Her grandfather congratulated her and said "We will be holding the actual ceremony tomorrow. So be on time."

After saying his words, he left.

Song Yu Qi and Lee Min Jae also walked out of the Civil Affairs building holding their marriage certificates. They both looked odd as a couple, as Lee Min Jae was neatly dressed in a suit and tie, Song Yu Qi was in her school uniform.

Yu Qi was busy thinking, so she was a little behind from Min Jae.

Min Jae who saw her reflection from the car's tainted window, turned around to look at her.

Walking towards her, he took out two small boxes from his pocket. He kept them in front of her and said "Pick one!!"

Yu Qi broke out from her train of thoughts when she heard him say "Pick one." She looked at the two small boxes placed in his hand. She looked at him confused and he said "These are couple rings, I don't know which type of rings you like, so I bought two."

He opened the boxes for her and allowed her to choose. Yu Qi was still bewildered but she choose one. She chose the silver colored rings as she felt them to be really beautiful and perfectly carved.

Lee Min Jae took out the rings from the box and said "Give me your hand." She held out her left hand and he inserted the ring in her slender finger smoothly. He gave her his ring and showed her his hand, she too inserted the ring in his hand. She was surprised to notice that his hands were exceptionally clean and beautiful.

He bought his hand together to hers and said "Now, we are married."

He turned around starting to walk, but he felt something missing, so he again turned around and walked towards her. He kissed her soft lips and said with a satisfied smile "Now, we are officially married."
