FAYES' POV
To be honest, I didn't want to engage in this confrontation at all.
Before Claus appeared, Catherine and I met in the square full of roses, and we both saw disgust and rejection in each other's eyes.
"I'm disgusted by your face, you," Catherine had always been used to attacking me with hurtful words.
And I was no longer the useless person who had to endure everything in the past. Now, whether it was practical ability or observation ability, I was not inferior to her.
Thinking back to Arnoldo, who could easily provoke her with just one sentence, I tried to imitate his way of speaking and put on a half-smile, "There's no need to prove that I look better than you. By the way, Willie probably doesn't like jealous women. If you provoke me again, maybe I'll tell him everything when I'm in a bad mood."
I no longer thought about passively responding to Catherine's various malice.
