5 Chapter 4
[Mavis]
I guess I should get ready for college then.
I wore red T-shirt and blue faded jeans, straightened my hair and wore my black sneakers. Took one last look at mirror and I'm ready.
I glanced at clock, its 8:30 AM. College starts at 9:00 AM. I have enough time to reach by car. I grabbed my keys and made my way to cellar.

....
I reached college by 8:55 AM.
I went to my class and on my seat which farthest corner on right side.
*sigh* As usual no one talks to me. College started two and a half months ago and at that time I was in depressed state so I didn't really make any friend even when they tried to converse with me.
That day was uneventful.

[After five days]
I was in library.... studying, yes I was studying, it not like I want to but I can't help as I missed almost 2 months of the college.
I was reading my book when a person sat in front of me with a shocked face, I glanced at that person and I was equally shocked.
"What the? "
"The hell!" we exclaimed at same time.
Librarian lady glared at us like we were responsible for the destruction of world.
She giggled and extended her hand "Hi! Nice to meet you again. "
" Hey! I think we should chat outside. " I said shaking my hand.
" Sure" she said as we stood up.

"So we're from the same college huh, but I never saw you?" she asked.
We were sitting in garden of college. Yup my college is big enough to have it's own garden.
"Of course, it's been only two months since the college started." I answered.
"Ohhhh! So you're a fresher?" she asked.
"Wait! You aren't?" I asked astonished.
She chuckled" I'm your senior. "
" Sh!t! So I don't stand a chance? " I grumbled. Wait! What am I even thinking. You just met her once you nitwit.
" Hmm, did you say something? " she asked.
"N-nothing" I stuttered. Damn wimp.
"Alright" she said. Damn, that was close.
"So, are you alright now? " I asked.
"Hmm, oh yes, of course I'm alright, if you're asking about break up. It hurts a bit but still I think I moved on." she said with a slight melancholic tone.
"Oh" I said. I didn't know what else to say, it's not like we're close anyway.
"I'd like to believe you didn't take advantage of me that day and thanks for that." she said looking straight at me.
I sighed.
"What?" she asked seeing me sigh.
"Look don't thank someone just because he didn't take advantage of you as that is how it's supposed to be" I answered.
She got stunned for a bit.
"Haha I guess you're right." she laughed.
"So we can be considered as friends right? " I asked carefully.
"of course" she stood up and hugged me.
I froze.
"Meet you later again" she said and went to her class.
It took me a whole minute to wake up from stupor. What the hell happened just now? I took a deep breath. Calm down dude it's just a hug, it's common for friends to hug each other.
