Rays of light are creeping through the uncovered part of the windows. As I wake up from my drug induced sleep. For the past years i coudnt be able to get some sleep without having my sleeping pills. And my nightmare are never ending and painfull as if i could feel i was still at that horrible place. The stinge, the cries of the tortured. And its horrible. I drag myself from my bed to get ready for work as i work as a fulltime babysitter for a rich family. Its not like i coudn't get a better job but in reality i can't since with the way my life had turned out i managed only to finish highschool and end not going to college because my stepdad ate up all my college money that my mum had left from me. So long story short i coudn't afford to go to college so i spend my life after that waitering tables at a bar.

I did my morning routine and had breakfast which isn't much because am living under a budget since I have to pay rent, the groceries, bills. Even my wardrobe expenses had to be cut down to the minimum but that problem was fixed since where I work Lisa their teenage daughter who is almost the same age as me ( pratically am 21 if your wondering) usually gives me her clothes the ones that she get tired of wearing and when I mean tired of is that she wears them only once. But hey! Who am I to complain since i always end up getting the good stuff so i don't end looking like i shopped from a department store for lost things.

I usually take the bus to work then walk a few blocks to work. When I arrive inside the house. The madame of the house comes straight at me

Mary which is her name by the way. She actually kinda nice when she wants to be but most of the time she got this poker face on at all times. "Mia your late". "Am sorry Mary i kinda had a problem on the way" . She just scoffed as said"yeah, i bet you overslept and came up with that lame of an excuse to cover for it".

Oooh if she only knew the only time i had some good shut eye is when I was totally drunk off my ass, and went out like a light. I remained silent and did not respond to her i was not in the mood for an argument right now with her. Seeing that this conversation was going nowhere she left me to go on with my work.

I went straight ahead to Abby's room (they also had there 8 year old daughter) who by the way was the cutest and loving little girl i have ever met. She makes my life seem less boring and lonely. She was getting ready to go swim by the pool as i was coming in.

"Mimi!!" She squealed and ran toward me, i had spread my arms ready for the hug. "I was waiting for you so we could go by the pool for a swim"she said jumping up and down . Well i love her but she a full package and usually is too much for me. She is always full of energy from the morning till the evening and would shut down when its her bedtime but before i tucked her in, sang her a song and then read her a book. Her parents are the kind that a usually too busy but they try from time to time to make some time for their daughter.

Abby pratically dragged me to the pool and we spent all the afternoon with me looking after her safety. When she got bored with swimming we went back inside since she needed to shower and change so i could help her with her homework since it was summer school break. They had some school work packages that was supposed to be completed. We worked on her homework but in the process i would leave to get her some snacks like a glass of milk and cookies and chocolates. I carried quiet a lot since most of the portion was mine. She wasn't allowed to have that much sugar.

The evening rolled in and i was getting my stuff to leave when madame summoned me in the kitchen. Well my day or night coudn't get any better. As i came in the kitchen Mary had her back turned to me and was on the phone. I was curious who she was talking to so i eavesdropped on her conversation. Well i wasn't that suprised to find out she was talking to abby's mom.

"I see i would request her to stay for the night since i cant","yes i will","i would pass on the message","goodbye". I got the hint that the phone call was done so i stood at upright since i had bent a little to listen to the conversation.

Mary turned to look at me."Mia i know you rather had something better to do with your night but something came up and i have to leave today and since Lisa is not at home noone is there to watch over Abby for the night". I knew where this conversation was ending and that i was needed here to watch over Abby for the night.
