36 A Dark Place

After talking with Marcus I felt bad that me and Officer Snow were have such a good time. He should know I love him and would never leave him even for Officer Snow. Didn't he? Just then as all of these thoughts crashed through my mind Mya walked up to us half bashfully which was not her.

"Officer Snow, Lt. Squirrel would like for you take the two of us back to his house where you're to stay with us until and after the others arrive which he said should be shortly." softly instructed Mya not making eye contact with me.

"Mya are you okay?" I asked as she was not acting no where like herself.

"I'm just worried about Mia I guess." replied Mya with what I could tell was an obvious fake smile.

"You sure? I'm here for you if you need to talk." I replied as Officer Snow went to start his car.
