28 Two men approaching

Zach is shooting a pretty and sexy model wearing an above-the-knee dress with the center of her chest showing. However, the model did not interest him at all. Especially since he met Adriana again, he's even less attracted to any girl because he can't get the image of Adriana out of his mind.

When finished, Zach sits while drinking coffee with his friend in a cafe. There, he accidentally saw Mark with a beautiful girl sitting making out like lovers. He saw them eating and feeding each other and seemed to be laughing happily.

'Is this the reason Mark and Adriana are getting a divorce?' Zach thought as he looked at the two lovebirds from a distance.

"Zach," his friend Robin called.

"Hmm," said Zach.

"Why are you even daydreaming?" Robin asked while glancing strangely at his friend.

"No, I was just looking at someone," Zach replied without turning his head. His gaze remained on Mark and the girl.

Robin looked for what his friend saw and asked, "Who did you see?"

"They," Zach pointed to the woman who was with Mark.

"Oh, she's Maura," Robin said after seeing the woman Zach had pointed to.

"So, her name is Maura?" Zach asked, then took another sip of his coffee.

."Yes, she is the daughter of the owner of this cafe," said Robin as he watched Maura and Mark's movements. "She is an accomplished pianist who recently returned from Germany."

"Hem." Zach sighed and thought of Adriana.

"Well, I'll go first," he said as he got up from the chair.

"Where are we going, we haven't finished editing the photo just now?" asked Robin.

"I'll just be away for a bit and I'll be back after lunch," Zach replied as he walked out of the cafe to his car. He immediately drove it towards Adriana's shop.

"So, Mark cheated on you. why do you always get men who are not loyal to you, Adriana? Before, Jack cheated on you, and now Mark, " Zach was driving while cursing at Adriana's fate. He was always thinking about her. Moreover, he had seen her start working in his shop. the shop that has been supporting her family after her father died.

After 15 minutes of driving his car, Zach arrived at Adriana's shop yard. He squinted his eyes when he saw two beautiful women busy lifting things into the shop. The man immediately got out of his car and approached them.

"Looks like you needs some help," Zach muttered as he looked at Adriana who looked tired.

"Why are you here again?" asked Adriana as she walked to the refrigerator and opened it. she took a fizzy drink and immediately drank it.

"I don't know why I wanted to come here," said Zach.

"Sis. I just took Evan home. Looks like he's sleepy," said Amanda while looking at her sister while carrying her nephew. Sometimes she glanced at the newly arrived Zach.

"Yes, Amanda. make milk for him, after that he must be fast asleep, " Andriana reminded him of the move to make Evan sleep quickly. He approached his younger brother and son and then kissed his son anxiously.

"Don't be naughty, mommy is here to work. Don't bother grandma and aunty. Ok?" Adriana advises Evan before going home. The boy responded with only a nod. Meanwhile, Zach just stared at the interaction between mother and child.

"Yes, we are home," Amanda said goodbye and then walked while carrying Evan to go home.

"Your sister is getting prettier," Zach muttered as he watched Amanda walk further away.

"Of course, because she's getting better at improving her appearance," said Adriana and then continued her activity of lifting a 10 kg rice sack.

"You also look better than when you were living with Mark." Zach approached Adriana and helped lift the things.

Adriana nodded, confirming Zach's words because she feels better now.

"I saw him with a girl earlier," Zach said, starting to mention what he saw at the cafe earlier.

Adriana stopped what she was doing and took a deep breath. She had just tried to forget about her husband, but Zach even came back to talk about him, saying that he was with another girl. 'That girl must be Maura,' she thought.

"I'm trying not to remember, Zach. why are you even talking about him?" asked Adriana curtly.

Zach didn't answer but instead asked again, "Is that girl the reason you two divorced?"

"Yes, I asked for a divorce," said Adriana while lifting the last sack. Sweat had soaked the forehead and temple area. she was working hard and was starting to get tired again.

"Why? Don't you love Mark, then why don't you try to hold on, don't you feel sorry for Evan?" Zach instead showered Adriana with questions. huh, didn't he realize how Adriana upset and tired?

"I have no choice, Zach. How can I continue my life with someone who doesn't love me? I started to be ignored and he went back to his old lover. He got his love back, that's why I backed off. and regarding Evan, Mark will still be able to meet him at any time," explained Adriana.

Having finished, Adriana sat down on the chair. She thought back to when Mark had a fight with Dave and heard the fact that his husband had never loved her. the man admits to leaving the city but ends up having an affair with Maura.

Zach approached Adriana, then sat on the chair right beside her. "Why do you always lose, you were also eliminated by Jack's affair?"

Adriana sighed. "I don't know, my luck is terrible."

Adriana felt huffed and tired. she rubbed her face then tossed her hair because felt hot. It's sultry looking pretty, so Zach continues to stare at her with a smile in admiration. Hmm, will he be a man who is ready to be Adriana's partner after officially divorcing Mark?

"You have to be more careful in choosing a man. Look good, must love you and Evan sincerely." Zach advised Adriana.

"You always lecture me, whereas you haven't found your love until now," Adriana quipped with a sarcastic smile at Zach. the man always told her to find a good partner, but he had not even got a girl to marry.

"I wish you weren't ex-Jack," Zach muttered so softly but Adriana could hear him.

'What if I'm ex-Jack?' Adriana thought as she glanced at Zach. she was fed up with his cowardice of always using Jack as a reason. If love is supposed to fight? Not even afraid or feel uncomfortable because of the past.

"You better go, I want to close the store and come home soon!" Adriana exclaimed because Zach was daydreaming and she also didn't want to linger with him or bring back the feelings of love that had existed for him in the past.

She immediately got up and was about to close the rolling door.

Feeling kicked out, Zach immediately walked back to his car with a disappointed expression. 'Either I can like another girl or not because only you are in my heart. But I'm afraid Jack's shadow will disturb our relationship if you are willing to be with me,' he thought.

In another place, Dave was sitting relaxed in a gazebo while gazing at the view of the beach in front of him. He is on vacation with his friends. However, he is currently alone, while his friend is surfing.

Dave looked at his smartphone which showed a photo of Adriana sitting in the park watching Evan playing. He deliberately took the photo from Andriana's social media. The man put a smile on his lips when he remembered the woman who incidentally was the wife of his brother.

'What if you are officially divorced from Mark, there is a chance for me to have you, Adriana? I can make you and Evan happy too,' he thought as he continued to stare at the photo.
