James Zachary Oswald

A handsome, burly man was walking while pulling his suitcase out of the airport. He wore black jeans combined with a white t-shirt and leather jacket, he also wore black glasses which made him look even cooler.

"I've arrived, where are you, Jack?" asked the man. he's talking to someone on the phone.

"Okay, I'll be there," he continued then immediately disconnected his phone and walked towards the side of the road.

He saw the car is waiting for him. He immediately entered the car that already had someone waiting for him.

"Zach," said his cousin, Jack.

"Hey, Jack, How are you?" Zach asked as he put the seat belt on his body.

"I've been busy lately," Jack replied as he sped up the car.

"Hm ... me too," Zach muttered. "I've had a really busy schedule lately," he continued, staring at the view from the windshield window.

"Don't just think about your career, Zach! all of our friends it's only you who are not married." Jack teases each, who is still single.

Zach did not immediately respond to Jack's sarcasm, he flinched thinking of Adriana who was always on his mind even though he had tried to forget the girl who was his cousin's ex-lover.

"Hey, why are you silent?" asked Jack, breaking Zach's reverie.

"It is okay. I just ... " Zach replied nervously.

"Just what?" asked Jack investigating.

"I'm tired," Zach replied. "I just want to sleep, when it's up please wake me up!" he exclaimed.

Zach positioned as comfortably as possible in the car seat, then closed his eyes even though he was not sleepy. all of that to avoid the chatter of Jack because what made him hesitant to get married was his cousin's ex.

"Huh ... slept instead." Jack chuckled annoyed that Zach would rather sleep than chat with him. They had not seen each other in almost three years.

after 30 minutes of drifting, they arrive at Jach's house. All their family members gather there. Usually, they reunite once a month and today happens to be right when Zach returns from Mexico.

"Zach, you're finally back," said a middle-aged man. he is Dante, Jack's father.

"Yes, because my work is done," Zach replied with a friendly smile as he sat on the sofa.

"You came home alone, son?" asked Christie, Zach's mother.

"Of course," Zach said short.

Christie sighed at Zach, who had come home alone. that means her son has not yet got a mate.

"Hmm, why don't you bring a lover or a wife?" asked Christie. "Look, Jack. He is married and has children," she continued while glancing at a woman who was holding a toddler.

"I haven't thought about that, Mom," Zach replied.

"Do you want to be single to old?" asked Irina, Jack's wife.

"It's up to me, it's none of your problems!" Zach replied curtly. He had never liked Irina as a sister in the past because she was very arrogant. Zach can't understand why his cousin prefers her over Adriana who is more

polite and friendly.

"Maybe no one has caught her heart yet, that's why she remains single," said Jack.

"Right." Zach nodded his head. "I'm not interested in any girl," he continued.

"You don't need to worry, Christie. Your son is handsome, there must be a lot of girls who will captivate him," Dante coaxed.

"Yes ...." Christie resigned about a match for Zach. "We better eat together, Irina and I have cooked a lot earlier," she continued as she got off the sofa.

they all agreed, then moved to the dining room. They eat together while chatting discussing each other's experiences and taking advantage of the time together by exchanging stories.

Zach was embarrassed and thought of Adriana. He wanted to know the news of the girl who was always in his heart. Even though she was married, he could not get rid of the affection that had already lingered in his heart

"I'm going out for a bit," Zach said goodbye as he got up from his seat. He plans to go to the mini-market, to buy some things he needs.

"Where are you going, aren't you tired?" asked Christie.

"I want to buy something, Mom," Zach replied as he took Jonathan's car keys and walked out of the house. he used his cousin's car because his car was still at home.
