74 The Friendly Type

Casey's hatred of group projects and presentations never changed. His groupmates never wanted to work with him and always gave him a hard time about his portion of the presentation.

The professors were merciless. He would happily do more of the researching and PowerPoint if he could avoid speaking but they forced everyone in the group to participate or their grade would suffer.

He couldn't afford to get bad grades on group projects because they were usually worth a significant chunk of his grade, unlike in high school where he could make it up by doing well on everything else. It felt like the whole system was made specifically so people like him would suffer.

Casey wasn't the only one in his classes that suffered with group presentations but most of the other people who didn't seem comfortable with it had stage fright and forgot what they were supposed to say rather than having difficulties with words.
