2 The ad

The rest of the walk to my apartment is a blur as I was recalling the conversation I had just minutes before with the handsome stranger. Woah, woah, woah… Since when did I think anyone was handsome? I am assuming that I am asexual after all. Typically I don't think twice about somebody's looks. I probably just observed that he is good looking, as a general fact. Yeah, that's it… While I am fumbling with my keys, it hits me.

I was going to go to the library! So that I could put up an ad for a roommate... Ugh I knew I had forgotten something! Quickly, I dart out of my apartment building and run to the library. Please let it be Beth who is locking up! She always keeps the library open for an hour or so after the scheduled closing time.

I arrive at the library at 6:55pm. Yes! Five minutes to spare, and I'm walking into the library's computer section. I had already saved the ad that I had typed up the day before to my account. The basics of the ad is that I am looking for a semi-clean, but not an overly OCD kind of person, independent, not loud, and non-addiction (I don't want to have any difficulties) roommate to live in the spare room of my apartment and split the rent with. I made it clear on the ad that I did not care about the gender of my roommate and that I was, indeed, male.

Once I am home I decide to just jump in bed and go to sleep with my street clothes still on. As sleep slowly takes over me, I am left thinking about the weird occurrence earlier today. I internally swear at myself for letting my thoughts drift back to that nameless man. And then sleep finally conquers my mind.

As I'm leaving the market, I can't help but think to myself... that blonde is pretty cute. I wonder if he swings that way? Never mind... I should not get my hopes up. I just moved here, ugh, I should not even be thinking about my boring love life....

But that name though... Rin... I like the way it feels on my tongue. My phone interrupts my thoughts, and I check to see who the caller is. Of course, who else would be calling me? I mean I have like two contacts in my phone. My deceased mother, which I just don't have the guts to delete her number, and TJ.

I answer the phone and immediately TJ shouts in my ear to get my butt over to the fight club. *Sigh* I already know where my nights heading... Maybe Once I deal with the black eye that I'm about to get, I can continue to hunt for an apartment.
