8 Second Encounter

Vionna sniffed in her cries she didn't want to let her tears fall. Outside the door was Mia, it seems she was the one who knocked earlier.

Vionna quickly put herself together so a trace of the earlier incident could not be spotted to avoid questions and unnecessary worries. She blinked continuously to wipe away the existent tears that were threatening to make their presence known.

"Vionna where were you all this while? You are lucky the Mistress didn't care about your absence." Mia said with seriousity. She can be a kind and friendly person but when it's comes to work, she makes sure everything non-work related is kept aside. That was more of the reason the position of head maid was given to her.

"I am very sorry Mia, I..I..The was something wrong with...The bathroom...yeah the bathroom, so I had to get it fixed. I am so sorry, I hope I didn't cause any trouble." Vionna apologized with a twisted expression.

"It's alright, but what were you still doing in the young master's bedroom, isn't he in there?" Mia asked with a furrowed brow.

"Ahhh, around? he's around?" Vionna muttered.

"Yeah, he arrived an hour ago with the Mistress's nephew."

"What! that means....." Vionna ceased for a second. A little incident popped up in her head. 'Oh no I'm so Dead!." She mentally screamed.

"Vionna! Are you okay?" Mia asked out of concern after seeing Vionna's lost look.

"Yeah yeah I am." She replied putting on a fake smile before she excused herself.

She definitely did not look okay. She had a dazed expression when she walked away making Mia wonder what was wrong with her. They were just talking and then.

Mia just shrugged before giving the door a glance and walking away.

Vionna was now at her room in the maids quarters. She sat on her bed, her mind and body were separated right now. Two worlds apart will be the right phrase for it.

"What have I gotten myself into Lord?" Vionna mumbled almost in tears. She can't believe she was caught, literally sleeping on her Master's bed. The worst of it was she was caught by him himself. She was damn scared now.

"How the hell am I going to face him, jeez what have I done?" She hurriedly brushed her hair behind with her fingers.

She remembered the conversation she had with him earlier. The part she asked what specie he was. She just felt like burying herself now after remembering all the nonsense she spoke to him.

She harshly covered her face in pure shame, it didn't just end there. The part in which She touched him and brushed his bangs aside, even cupping his jaw, Slowly kept replaying in her brain.

Vionna honestly thought it was all a dream that was the reason she went that far. It's rare seeing such pretty men in your dreams this days. She immediately slapped herself for this thought that just presented itself in her mind. "You are in a serious situation here Vee, stop joking around." She berated herself out loud.

She released a huge fit of air as she inhaled again. "It will pass, it will surely pass, leave tomorrow's worry for tomorrow." She cheered and encouraged herself before she stood and left to help the others in the clean up.

"Vionna where were you?" Jas who saw her coming out towards the dinner hall immediately queried.

Vionna slowly walked up to them, Mia was also there. "Do you guys need help?" She ignored the question with a smile.

"Where were you Vee?" Alexa repeated since she saw through Vionna's trick.

"I was just busy guys why the stares?" Vionna replied with an awkward laugh as she took away the plate Tomika was holding.

"Okay since you said so let's get this over with, I'm feeling sleepy." Tania said with a quick yawn.

"Sure, me too." Gwen concurred.

They hurriedly finished up the left over work. By the end of it they were all pretty tired and exhausted. Tania was already hanging on Vionna's shoulder as they all walked to their Quarters.

When they reached the entrance to the maids quarters, Mika immediately shouted. "Wait!" And they all stopped to look at her, prompting her to speak. They were curious about her sudden halt.

"What happen Mika?" Vionna took the lead to ask.

"Ermmm guys?"

"What?" They all echoed out.

"I think we left the dish washer on!" She exclaimed with her eyes wide open.

"What?" Mia, the always responsible one shrieked out loud. She couldn't believe what she just heard.

"Who did that? Mika?" Mia called out when she saw Mika all heads down at her question.

"Don't worry I will go turn it off, there's nothing to worry about." Vionna volunteered her help when.

"Don't bother, I will do it. You must be tired already, You guys go ahead I will be right there." Tania stopped her.

"Alright be quick." Alexa muttered.

Tania immediately left for the kitchen. She needed to be fast she was also very tired and needed rest.

Upon arriving at the kitchen, she halted at the entrance. She slowly blinked, not expecting to see him here at all.

Zeke stopped his actions when he saw Tania. He gave her a small smile when he spotted her at the entrance which she reciprocated with a nervous nod.

"Well...The jug was empty so... I came to fill it up." He spoke up first since the atmosphere between them was awkward.

Tania only replied with a nod like usual. She was fidgeting with her fingers and she didn't know why. She hurriedly placed them behind her hoping he hasn't noticed it yet.

She diverted her attention to the dish washer, The main reason she came. And to her surprise it was off already.

Zeke already saw the question in her eyes so he made to answer. "Ermm actually I saw it on so I decided to turn it off, maybe you guys would have forgotten so..."

"Thank you." Tania immediately cut him of.

"It's okay." He replied with that bright smile of his, throwing Tania into a slight daze.

She turned back to get going since she had stood quite enough already.

"Wait!" Zeke said stopping her.

Tania who was backing him already, stopped after she heard him. She breath in hard an caught her lips between her teeth out of nervousness which she didn't know where it was coming from.
