Call Me Mom

"Is it the Gao family?" A shaky smile crept up Elena's face as the surprise sinked in.

Lu Chenjun's grip on Elena's hands tightened before he nodded his head. 

Elena let out a sigh of relief when she heard that. Her family was the Gao family.

"You asked me if I would be mad, right?" Lu Chenjun looked up with wide eyes. He felt as if his heart was going to jump out of his chest any second.

"I'm not mad," Elena said with a smile. "I was never mad. Thank you."

Confuse was written all over Lu Chenjun's face as he stared intently at Elena's face. He opened his mouth but before he could, another phone call came through. Lu Chenjun frustratingly powered off his phone and turned back to Elena.

"Was that Gao Ziqian?" Elena chuckled. Lu Chenjun nodded but his focus wasn't on Gao Ziqian anymore.
