1 The She-Devil

"President ,the meeting is about to start.We should leave for meeting hall."devyanshi informed her politely.

"Hm"like always she respond with a single word.

she gets up from her seat and fixes her suit before leaving the cabin.

"Good morning, president " every employees started greeting her as siya passed by them .

But like always she just noded and moved forward towards the meeting hall.

"Is she always like this." one of the new employee ask to her colleague after just getting a nod from her president. She felt bad and irritated for not receiving any response .

She just wispered but Devyanshi heared her clearly.

Devyanshi was president siya's assistant and a very old best friend.Though the world knows her friend or president as the she devil or the cold hearted creature only she knew why she was like this.

"President,I will join you in a movement " she said in a respectable manner and moved towards the employee who was asking the question.

"I think you are new in the office" she asked.

"yes ma'am ,It's my first day today" employee replied.

"And would be your last day. If , I again saw you spotting nonsense about our President." Divyanshi said with a angry voice and turned around to leave.

She wanted to answer the employee's question but knew she could not. she wanted to say loudly 'No,my friend not was like this always. She was sunshine in our lives, our laughing budha but now she has turned like this because of that man,the man whom she hated to the Core for making her friend like this.Only if she has met him , she would have killed him for making her friend like this.'

"ma'am,the meeting is about to start."her junior reminded her bringing her back to the present.

"hm " devyanshi said walking towards the meeting hall.

inside the meeting hall

"Ms. devyanshi ,start the meeting " siya told devyanshi when she saw devyanshi entering the meeting hall.

"yes, president "devyanshi replied in a respectful manner turning towards the employees and representatives "plz , start the meeting gentleman's "

"sorry, president siya but our president has not reached till now , he is on his way."an representative said in a humble manner . He was to scared of this she devil but more than her , he ws afraid of his own president.

Just as siya was about to say something the door of meeting hall opened and a man in formal dress entered followed by his assistant and secretary. There was a dangerous aura around him just like a king who can make anyone shiver . If siya was she devil than he was the devil king . Although ,he was wearing very formal clothes he was looking damn gorgeous like an emperor ascending from his throne .

Siya was shocked to hell after seeing him ,she frozed on the spot .

He was also standing there in the same condition he wanted to hug her and tell her he is back .She was damn gorgeous than before infact sexy and hot.

They both can't help starting at each other .All the representatives and employees were waiting for them to move or talk but they were standing still like statues.Even devyanshi was waiting for them to react and say something.

Where as they both were away in another world thinking. If it was a dream or really they met again. All the memories of past refreshed ones again in siya's mind . Tears started to form in her eyes.

"President are you all right "devyanshi asked after waiting for more than 5 min but they both were not reacting at all.

Divyanshi voice brought them back to the present.

"hm" Siya said in a hushed voice . Her throat feel dry .She reached out for the water bottle in front of her and emptied the entire bottle in one go .

"I am fine" siya said turning towards him.

Seeing her eyes again on himself he said"good morning, president siya" extending his hand towards her he again said "I am sorry for getting late"

"it's ohk" all her employees and devyanshi stared at her as if they had seen ghost. For the first time they didn't felt the dangerous aura in her voice and also did she just said it's ohk. She would have just walked out of the meeting hall by now even if it was the president of the country ,if he was late.

Turning towards the employees she said "Let the meeting begin " shaking his hand she greeted him " Hello ,president kartik goenka "

He walked towards his seat and sat down for the meeting to begin. But during the whole meetings for the first time the biggest president's were distracted and were staring each other.

Siya couldn't tell at this movement what she was feeling. She wanted to get up and beat him, shout at him or atleast hug him. It has been 8 years , they have met and here they were sitting like strangers.

'Does she hates me now. Why is she staring at me . Did i have done a mistake by coming back ' kartik was also thinking the same thing as her. He also wanted to talk to her tell her 'he is back and he is back for her. But will she forgive me for what i have done' was the only thing going in his mind right now .

"Sir, the meeting has ended " Akash told his boss bringing them back to the world because he knew what was going on between them at this moment. He was not only kartik's assistant but also his good friend.

" hm " kartik and siya said at the same time turning towards the screen where the presentation was explained while they were busy staring at each other and thinking about past.

if someone would have told them 8 years before that one day they would be sitting in this awkward position in next 8 years they would have laughed at them like they are idiots.

They were each other's breath, each other's life. but,now everything has changed they are just strangers to each other's who one's knew each other.

"ma'am what are your thoughts on this presentation?"one of the employee who presented the presentation asked siya

" i want 30% share in this project"siya said in her usual bussiness voice but today something was different in her.

" but ma'am isn't it to...."

"ohk"before the employee could complete his sentence kartik replied

"then, the deal is final mr. goenka. Nice to have this deal"siya said and started to get up from her seat to leave the meeting hall but before she could leave kartik stoped her by holding her wrist.

"wait,apeksha.I have another deal left to talk with you.Today is 18 june , 8years have completed . It's time for that deal to come in action." kartik said as if he was just stating the obvious.

everyone in the meeting hall was confused infact they were shocked thus the almighty emperor who is said to be women hater just now bold someone's wrist.

but,most of all devyanshi was shocked how did mr.goenka knows her friends real name.

"everyone ,please leave us alone for a moment " siya said which shocked everyone even more but it was the boss order who were they to interfere.

after everyone has left the hall kartik hugged apeksha so tightly as if he was controlling himself from years but now every control has broken
