55 Something's Off With Yuna...

After storming off, Hayashi Sakura continued to curse Mori Ken in her head as she felt her anger rise within her.

Seriously, what is that guy trying to pull off now? Are he and Ryuuji still plotting something against me? That encounter that my mother had with that bastard, I believe it's not a pure coincidence at all!

I wish that guy would somehow leave me alone even just for a day or two, then will I only feel peaceful inside.

Since it was already lunch break, Sakura stormed towards the cafeteria where she believed Nakano Yuna and Tanaka Ryo were already waiting for her.

At the same time, Yamaguchi Alan also happens to be walking straight to the cafeteria after his third-period class while humming happily by himself.

He was still elated with that early morning incident that happened earlier at their apartment where he was able to have some of Sakura's vegetables for free and got to spend a little time with her as well.

Just thinking about it all day put him in such a good mood. Even his classmates and fangirls couldn't help but notice the astonishingly youthful glow that radiated from him today.

---

"Doesn't our prince Alan looks extra handsome today?"

"Yes. That was the first thing that I noticed ever since I saw him this morning!"

"He looks really dashing today! Like a real-life prince in casual attire!"

"Yes! He certainly is!"

---

Throughout the hallways that Alan blindly walked through, all the girls kept whispering praises towards the prince they worshiped. The latter, on the other hand, did not seem to notice them and was still reminiscing about the incident this morning.

Alan continued humming happily as he made his way towards the cafeteria when his eyes happened to see the person, whom he was thinking just now, also walking in his direction.

His right arm was just about to wave at Hayashi Sakura while plastering that radiant smile across his lips when she was too preoccupied with her own thoughts to pay attention to him and simply stormed off past him, as if he was an invisible presence.

With a blink of an eye, the radiant glow slowly faded as he sadly looked at the girl walking ahead of him without even giving him a second glance.

"Sakura seems to be in a bad mood, " Alan said, hunching his eyebrows together while he returns his arm on his side. "I wonder what's wrong with her..."

Rather than being sad about how he had been treated earlier, Alan ignored it and dashed as fast as he could to catch Sakura's pace so he could have a chance to talk to her.

"Hey, Hayashi-san," Alan said cheerfully as he approached the girl who had stopped walking by now to get in line, waiting for her turn at the counter.

That's the time Sakura noticed his presence and turned around to meet his gaze.

"Oh hey. I didn't see you there immediately Yamaguchi-san. Sorry," Sakura flashed a shy smile and made an apologetic face, which Alan brushed off aside.

Smiling, Alan replied, "Nah, it's okay. You seemed to be in a pretty bad mood, so I totally understand."

Sakura was somehow taken aback by what Alan said just now and began contemplating within herself. Am I really that obvious? Man!

"Oh, it's nothing at all. You know how stressful quizzes can be, right? That's just it." Sakura tried to come up with a lie and barked a chuckle to somehow support her statement.

Alan then joined in laughing with her and responded, "Tell me about it! Just now, our professor gave us a surprise quiz and we all groaned in frustration right after he announced it over."

A few moments later, both Sakura and Alan continued talking to one another until they got their turn to buy their own food..

Once done, Alan went with Sakura and joined Tanaka Ryo and Nakano Yuna, who were eating peacefully over their table.

"Wow. I think this is the first time I haven't seen you fighting over lunch." Alan chuckled and took the seat right next to Sakura across from the pair.

That is when Alan set down his eating utensils, moved his body forward a little, as if he's about to whisper something on this two, and sneak glance first at Yuna before returning his gaze back at the two

Tanaka Ryo whispered, "I think there's something off with this girl today "

"With Nakano-san?" Sakura said, which made Ryo shushed her in an instant.

Sakura eyed her friend, who looked like someone who is currently not in her normal mental state and keeps on sighing dreamily from time to time.

Meanwhile, Nakano Yuna seemed not to hear what they are currently saying and continued with her dreamy state.

Ryo continued, "I don't know what really happened though, but she came here looking like that. I know she's already stupid but she looks extra stupid right now-- Ow, that hurts!"

He wasn't able to continue with his statement when Nakano Yuna suddenly breaks off from her delusional state and gives Ryo a quick whack in the head.

Suddenly, Tanaka Ryo looked like a dog who is now gritting his teeth at Yuna because of what she did just now.

"You are the stupid one here, stupid." Yuna clicked her tongue in irritation and started barking at Tanaka Ryo's direction. The latter did the same thing.

In an instant, their once peaceful table has turned out to be the loudest as students present in the cafeteria started looking at the pair who looked like some ferocious breed of dogs that are constantly barking at one another.

As Alan and Sakura watched these two, the former couldn't help but scratch the back of his neck while regretting what he said a while ago.

"I guess I'll just have to keep my mouth shut around these two and let them be next time…" Alan said and looked at Sakura apologetically.

Sakura shrugged and replied, "Yeah, I think we should do that next time."
