Chapter 1

Hello! My name is Mallory Lorelei. I was born eighteen years ago. I got my first job five years ago. During that time, I met my first love. Now, the both of us are a happy couple. Plus one.

*Hold up. What do you mean plus one?*

Yes. We are a very happy couple. Plus one extra in bed with my first love.

*Whaaat?!*

I stare in shock as my boyfriend of five years tries to hide the girl laying next to him. "It's not what you think!" He yelled

*Why do they always say that?* I wondered

I turned to leave but not before saying "Thanks for wasting my time you fucking bastard" and slammed the door on my ex.

I walked out of my now ex-boyfriend's house. His mother had been acting strange when I first walked in. Now I know why.

It had begun to rain down on me as I trudged back to my house. *The world really wanted a laugh today, didn't it?*

*BAM!*

I felt a prickle of needles all over my body. White flashes sparked everywhere. A ring sounded throughout my ears,

Numb. I couldn't feel anything and my visions went black.

I opened my eyes and saw a white ceiling with a chandelier hanging from it. My hearing came back and I heard murmuring. I looked around and saw people in diffrent colored robes. My hearing must have gotten better since I could hear them much more clearly.

"Isn't she supposed to be dead?" "She is far too weak to be alive" "Why didn't it work?"

*What the hell is going on?*

"Yo! Can anybody tell me what's going on?" I yelled

"Yo?" "Who is she to talk like that?" "The nerve!"

"Ahem!" One voice rang out among all the muttering "I'm sure that this young girl is extremely confused. We should take some time to explain the situation to her"

The man turned towards me. He had blond hair with a long blond beared. He wore a white robe with gold linings on it.

"You, a mere mortal, have been chosen to become a Goddess." He said

*Huh?*

He continued "Not just any Goddess. The Goddess of Love."

*What kind of sick joke is this?*

"You by far are the weakest of all. We are stronger." He said as the crowd cheered

"Excuse me, but why exactly was I chosen?" I asked

"From now on, you are only to speak when spoken to" he said as he avoided answering the question

I huffed and "Fine. Your royal assholenes, why was I summoned?"

He glared and said "The past God of Love has passed away and you are the lowly replacement"

"Hm. I see." I said "For the time being, where am I going to be staying? What will I eat? How will I live? Who are you? Who are any of you?" I gestured to the crowd

"I understand that you have several questions and I will answer them all. I am Zeus! The God of the Sky! Father of all gods and humans!" He boasted

*Of course he would start with that questions*

"The crowd you see here." He waved to the crowd "They are all gods and angels who have gathered together to see you"

I rolled my eyes "Sure. Whatever. Now tell me where I will be living and what I will be eating. These questions should have been the first to have been answered. I did not come here of my own free will so I shall be fed and housed properly."

Zeus was taken aback so it took him a while to respond. "I...uh. We will give you a place to live." He said

"Show me where" I demanded

"Uh...yes." He signaled for an Angel to come over to me and instructed for him to show me to my living space.

I followed the Angel out of the stadium that I was summoned in. We walked a few miles down the road and went up some stairs.

"Excuse me, but we have been walking for a long time. How are my legs not...I don't know...broken?" I asked the Angel

"We are not living and therefore have no limbs or muscles. We do not feel pain." He replied

"Oh! How handy" I said

We made it up the stairs and into a small cottage.

"You will be living here" Angel said and turned to leave

"What about food?" I asked

"We have no digestive system and so we have no need for food" he replied and slammed the door

I stood in shock as his words reverberated throughout my mind.

*No food…* *No food…*...

"No food?!" I yelled "First they take me away from my home. Then they insult me. Now they tell me I can't eat food!"

I layed on the bed. *I need a break…* I turned towards the bathroom. *A bath should help*

I hopped off the bed and looked for clothes. *Ah! Found some. But…*

I held a robe in the color pink with black lining the edges. I couldn't find anything else so this will have to do. *It could be worse*

I walked into the bathroom...it wasn't a bathroom! There were books all around and a table in the middle. *This is a library*

I walked back out. *Makes sense. If they don't eat then they won't have anything to let out.*

I passed by a girl with white hair and said "Hello"

I paused and moonwalked backwards. The girl did the same. She copied every movement as I did. *This girl...is me! Why do I look so different?*

My eyes used to be brown and were covered by my black hair. Now, my electric blue eyes stared back at me through my snowy white hair. *What kind of fuckery is this?!*
