2 The Strange new comer

James sat down beside the new comer after inquiring around about her. He easily got a seat beside her as no one seemed to take any interest in her and seemed to avoid the poor creature mercilessly. She too never cared to even spare a look at anyone with a continuous frown on her face for no reason.

James, too overwhelmed with her decided to start a talk himself. "So, will you be my friend? I promise to be nice to you",said James smiling lovingly into her eyes. She ignored but our cute lover continued. " I got to know that you are called Su. I like your name. You know Su, you are the first one I've actually fallen for. I know that you have never made friends to anybody but I want to give it a try. Trust me and I'll keep you happy. I just want to befriend you. I've never had a friend since I was in grade 4. I rarely like anyone because my choices are kind of weird in people's eyes. And my choice of you as a friend for life will be the weirdest of all. But I recognize how someone is when I see one. You're the one who hate people for not being trustworthy and honest. I promise you, I've been the most trustworthy person and the most honest person that people around me have ever known. So, what do you have to say"? Su, after a long time at last turned and looked into his eyes. She seemed to understand everything. Yes, the boy was right. She could see his honesty and friendliness through his eyes. Her lonely and tiered eyes wanted to say something to him which James could not understand. He smiled at her when he felt her acceptance and stroked her head lovingly. She let him touch her and was happy to be by someone who loved her with all his heart.

She closed her eyes and fell asleep with her head on his lap feeling the pleasure of being loved so dearly. James was very happy by her readiness to befriend him and left the spectators astonished with their heart in their mouth.
