4 Chpt #4 - Twist of fate
Ryan has a double life.
During work, he tends to act aloof and narcissistic. But after work, he does volunteer work playing with the kids at a child care center. No one knows this side of him except for his assistant, Desmond.
Desmond grew up together with Ryan and Desmond is more to his bestfriend compared to a assistant. But work wise, he has to act together with Ryan.
Anyways, Ryan looks totally different after work and no one will actually recognize him. He dressed up casually, with those thick spectacles on and totally don't look like any overbearing rich guy.
And his name at the child care center is called Randy. The reason he puts up this disguise is that, he just wants to lead a normal life freely. Do not need to think about his status and able to smile at everyone and anyone.
"Lucy-jie! I'm here" Nancy called Lucy, one of the incharge of the child care center.
Nancy often visits the child care center as she wants those kids that does not have a complete family, to feel that they are being love, regardless.
Lucy is not only Nancy close friend but she's also like an older sister to her. Lucy is a child psychologist and from time to time, she will advise Nancy on certain things.
Lucy is the only person that knows Nancy inside out. She knows every details that is happening in her family and in her life.
"Oh Nancy! You are here! Remember i wanted to introduce you to someone who volunteers here just like you do? Finally you guys are here to meet each other. Lets go!" Lucy pulls Nancy hand and ran towards Randy.
"So Randy meet Lucy and Lucy meet Randy. You guys are best volunteers here and finally you guys get to meet." Lucy introduced the both of them.
Randy / Ryan knew who Nancy was and Lucy talks alot about her and thus when they were at work, he was trying to see if Nancy recognized him.
"Hi Randy I'm Nancy nice to meet you" Nancy pulls her hands out for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Randy" Randy smile sweetly to her and shakes her hand.
"You guys go ahead and play with the kids while i head back to do my paper work" Lucy left Randy and Nancy alone with the kids who are playing around.
A small little boy by the name of Nelson pulls both Nancy and Randy clothes asking to play with them.
"So i guess…let's go?" Randy cheerfully told Nancy to play together with Nelson and the rest of the kids.
They played bubbles, ran around the whole evening and had dinner together. Nancy and Randy can be seen happily with one another, laughing and just having fun together.
