3 Chpt #3 - The new director

"Let's welcome Mr Ryan Gu, our new director" Amanda introduced the hotel's new director to the team.

Everyone claps their hands while welcoming him. He doesn't smile and all and gives off a aloof vibe.

Nancy hates that kind of narcissistic or overbearing ceo concept and she never knew she had to face someone like that one day.

Nancy may no like to get involved in any argument but she is never a bootlicker. She will never say yes to everything even if that's not right. She always needs a reason for every task that is given to her. Thus, that what makes her an awesome leader in assisted marketing team.

"I roughly heard how you guys work for the past few years and honestly its not really up to standard. You guys are basically doing things for the sake of doing it. Do you guys even put in effort? Yes sales has not been going down, but to maintain at the same rate? That's not good either." Ryan started his speech.

Nancy was so pissed hearing his speech that she almost wants to bang the table. Everyone knows how hard she works. Every detail and every effort she puts in. But the fact that result does not show, she can't say anything about it.

"Oh, I don't care if you want to call me Ryan or Mr Gu or Director. Name is not important to me and being efficient is. With the help of Amanda and Nancy, i want both of you to report to me what are your current strategies and i will implement more things so that our mall is able to gain more profits" Ryan ends off his speech and walks off.

Ryan is only 3 years older than Nancy. The reason that he is a director, yes he is definitely competent and at the same time, the hotel belongs to his grandfather and its about time for Ryan to take over one of his grandfather properties.

As Ryan walks off from the meeting room, he took a glimpse on Nancy and exits the room.

"Meeting dismissed" Amanda told the team and ran out to chase after Ryan showing him the way to his office.

"Seems like our life is going to be miserable now. Sigh…." Alice said.

"Hey, let's think positive okay guys. As long as you have me, I'll try my very best to make sure we are getting paid equally to the task given" Nancy assured the team.

"But Mr Gu is just too scary" Ricky adds on

"Come on guys, lets not think about it. Let's go grab some food for lunch and get back to work" Nancy cheered them up and brings them out for lunch.
