20 Chpt #20 - Feeling confuse

"Fine I'll do the broadcast now" Anthony complies.

"Oh before that, i want you to kneel down and apologise to Nancy" Ryan stands up and pointed to Nancy.

Both Desmond and Nancy stands.

Anthony approaches Nancy and apologise without any sincerity. Ryan was so pissed that the anger he has been controlling, he let it all out by kicking Anthony's leg.

Nancy was shocked as she has never seen that side of Ryan before. Usually no matter how angry he is at work, he will always control it.

Anthony is now kneeling infront of Nancy. With that angry look on Ryan face, Ryan squat down beside him and whispered "Are you going to apologise?"

Ryan took out his phone and dial the police number. Upon seeing it, Anthony immediately bowed to Nancy and apologise frantically.

Soon after, the police arrive and handcuffed Anthony.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH! YOU LIED!" Anthony screamed in anger.

"You think I'm going to let you off easily after what you have done not only to my hotel but to my women as well" Ryan smirks and the police took him away.

All accusations are finally over. Nancy felt relieved and she drops to the ground and cried.

Hearing Nancy crying, Ryan turns around and hugs her "Its over now, everything will be fine" and Ryan pats her back.

Desmond who couldn't stand being the third wheeler went out to standby the car.

"Hey, let's not go back to the hotel and I'll bring you to my favourite bar when I'm down" Ryan smiled to her and she agreed.

Desmond drop them off at Neon Bars. Compared to other noisy bars, especially Universe bar, Neon Bar is more on the professional side. It's calming and appropriate for couple to dine in or even casual business chats.

"How do you fine this place" Ryan asked Nancy.

"Didn't know you will have time to be depressed too" Nancy laughed.

"Hey I'm a human to alright" Ryan clanks on her glass and took a sip of his drink.

Both of them had a good time with each other. They shared so many things to even about their family and their younger days.

Nancy was feeling slightly tipsy, "I think having a drink after all that crying is not a good idea. I'm feeling kind of tipsy. I'll go to the washroom to wake myself up first"

"Alrights I'll pay the bills and I'll send you home" Ryan went to get the bills while Nancy went to the washroom.

While washing her face, she looks at her star necklace and start to feel bad. She felt that she has fallen for Ryan and that she does not want to play with Randy's feeling.

Nancy touched her necklace and walks off.

While waiting for the cab, "Hey I don't want to go home like this. My family will be worried about me. I've texted them that I'll be working overtime and staying over at the orphanage with Lucy-jie" Nancy shyly told Ryan about it.

"Emmm…hmmm" Ryan stammered.

"Why not, stay at my house instead. I mean, i have empty room and that no one is staying with me except for my cat…if you don't mind" Ryan scratches his head.

Nancy shyly nods and agreed.

In the taxi, Nancy stared looking outside the window. Ryan was worried and asked her "Hey you okay?"

"It's been a pretty dramatic day and I'm kind of tired by it" Nancy laughed and sighed.

Ryan moved closer to her and said "hmm…maybe you can take a nap first" and he creases her head.

Nancy smiled and slowly puts her head on his shoulder and at the same time touches the necklace and said to herself "what am i even doing now. Falling in love with two guys"

Nancy slowly falls asleep.
