17 Chpt #17 - Alice Birthday

It's 7am in the morning and it seems that both Nancy and Randy can't sleep.

The moment Nancy wokes up, she looks at her phone, expecting a reply from Ryan. Nancy sighed as there's no reply and went out from her room to take a bath.

Same from Randy, he happens to wake up the same timing as Nancy and walks out from his from to take a bath too.

Both of them were shocked to see each other. Both of them shyly greets good morning to each other and they started laughing.

"Randy what's with your eye bags! They look like panda!" Nancy starts pointing at his eye bags and laughed.

"Same goes for you! What's with you eye bags. I didn't know it was that bad and this is the first time I'm seeing you without makeup" Randy laughed thinking that she looks cute.

Nancy totally forgots that she had no makeup on and she covers her face with her towel and ran to the washroom to bath.

"Aaaahhhhhh! This is soooo embarrassing!" Nancy softly screams and slaps herself.

After the "commotion", both Nancy and Randy dressed up for the birthday celebration. They had a good time together with the kids. They ran around and laughed.

It's finally cake cutting time and everyone sang a birthday song for Alice. Randy starts being childish and put the cream on Alice nose and laughed.

Alice laughed as well and did the same to both Randy and Nancy. They had a good time together and that both Nancy and Randy was dead tired after playing with the kids.

After the celebration, Nancy took a drink and as usual, sat at her favourite spot at the park. She hug both her legs and starts to look back at the photos she took during the birthday celebration.

As she was scrolling those photos, she realised that she happen to take close up side view of Randy.

She zooms in to that photo and admire his looks. She also happen to see a cute heart shaped birthmark behind his ears and she laughed.

"Hey why are you laughing so happily" Randy heard her laughter from the back and approach her.

Nancy quickly off her phone and pretends nothing happen and smiled at him.

Randy sat beside her and both of them was awkwardly silent.

Nancy breaks the ice and asked "Hey you mentioned that day that i look charismatic when i work. How do you know?"

Randy was flustered and suddenly remembered that one and only day he became Randy. "Oh remember that day when i was looking for Ryan? It seems that you look so charismatic in those formal wear" and he awkwardly laughed.

Nancy felt weird because at that point she did nothing charismatic but didn't think much about it and replied "How about those secrets. What is it and when will you share it with me?"

"Hmm I'll let you know when the time is right. But then again, when are you going to agree to be my girlfriend then?" Randy changes the topic.

"Shall see how your performance is" Nancy touches her necklace and laughed.

Soon after, Desmond called.

Randy steps away after informing Nancy that he will pick up a call.

"We are in trouble now. Do you remember that guy that we beat up. He wants to sue us and the whole crowd that was there seems to be siding them. We have no evidence and the cctv coincidentally breaks down that night too."

"And to add on. We are on the gossip website and everyone has been trying to find out which company and which hotel is it" Desmond sounds anxious.

"Wait what? Cctv breaks down? Our hotel have the best security and coincidentally it breaks down specially for that night? I'm coming over. In the meantime, ask media to delete all those post. I don't want Nancy to read them." Randy sounded serious.
