16 Chpt #16 - Confession

Randy saw Nancy sitting alone at the park and he slowly approached her.

"Hey you okay? Aren't you cold?" Randy softly starts a conversation with her.

"Nah I'm fine. So many things happen lately i guess i must be tired. Thank god my boss gave me 5 days off" Nancy smiled and took a sip of her drink.

"Hey look there! That star is blinking so bright right??" Randy starts to change topic.

"What? Which star? They all look the same" Nancy looks up and was looking for the star.

Randy keeps pointing but Nancy just couldn't find it.

"Which direction are you even looking at? There's no blinking stars" Nancy starts to get annoyed.

Soon after, Randy drops a necklace star from his finger and Nancy slaps his hand and laughed.

"No wonder i find this dialogue so similar! Did you learn it from Nothing But You drama? Luo Zheng dialogue am i right?" Nancy starts laughing.

"You're finally laughing. But anyways, I'm serious this is for you and it just a coincidence that I'm able to use his dialogue at this situation" Randy smiled while holding both Nancy shoulders.

Randy slowly wears the necklace on Nancy neck and whispered in her ears "Will you be my girlfriend and will you let me share all my secrets with you?"

Randy slowly gets closer to her and start to kiss her. During the kiss, her memories of her with Ryan starts to cross her mind. The image of how Ryan protects her just flashes back.

Nancy pushed Randy away and said "I'm sorry but will you give me time to think about it"

Randy apologise for being too impulsive and hugs Nancy instead and assured her "Don't worry, I'll wait"

Nancy smiled "It's late now and its Alice birthday tomorrow. Let's go get some rest"

Nancy couldn't sleep that night. She keeps thinking about Ryan and Randy and she does not want to make a wrong decision.

That night, she texted Ryan.

"Hi, thank you for taking care of me during those times and thank you for giving me a proper off days. Goodnight."

It's been an hour but Ryan didn't reply. Nancy was so disappointed that she decide to sleep instead.

Nancy didn't know that Ryan phone has been switched off by Desmond since "supposedly" he is supposed to be on a "business trip".

It's 1am and Randy can't sleep too. He calls up Desmond to vent out.

"Bro I've confessed" Randy said it out the moment Desmond picks up the call.

"Are you serious??? 1am and you are calling me just to say this? My dear boss can you go to sleep…." Desmond was already asleep until Randy called him.

"Hey, but she didn't reject nor accept. Does she have someone else? But she didn't return my necklace means she likes me" Randy explains the whole situation.

"Bro…desmond…heyy are you listening" Randy was anxious to get an answer but realized Desmond fell asleep and so, Randy hangs up the calls and decides to sleep too.
