15 Chpt #15 - Preparing Alice birthday

"Oh hi Lucy-jie! Where's Nancy?" Randy ran out of the car and went to find Nancy.

"Randy!" Nancy shouted from far.

Randy ran towards her and gave her a tight hug! Randy has been wanting to give Nancy a hug but just could not because he is Ryan, Nancy's boss.

Nancy pushed him away and laughed "What's wrong with you."

"Actually i heard everything from Desmond. Are you okay?" Randy twist and turns Nancy body to check if she's hurt.

Nancy holds on to his arms and drags him inside "Stop it already 😂 Let's start preparing for tomorrow Alice birthday party!"

Lucy reserved a classroom just for them to decorate for Alice birthday. Nancy and Randy start preparing and doing some handcrafts.

Randy is quite good at doing origami and he starts doing paper cranes to decorate the classroom.

"Wow you're so good at it! Teach me! Teach me!" Nancy was excited to learn and she sat closely to him.

Randy took out another paper and gave it to her. Both of them laughed and had the best of time together.

Randy suddenly asked a random question.

"Nancy, don't you want to get a boyfriend?"

Nancy was too stunned to speak and said "how about you?"

Both of them laughed and Randy said "Hmm i do have someone i like but i have a secret and scared that she might think I'm unreliable"

Nancy was slightly disappointed because she thought Randy likes her and he is going to confess,

"Hmm why not just tell her everything then. If she loves you too, she should be expecting everything about you and understands it. As for the reliable part…hmm i guess you got to put in extra effort to make her feel secure? Anyways who is she? Is she pretty?" Nancy pretends to be curious.

"Yup she's pretty! She can be cute and childish at times, she is so charismatic during work and she can be pretty weak at times too. It just makes me feel like protecting her at all cost" Randy smiled.

"It's almost dinner time now and i guess we are almost done with the preparations here. Let's help Lucy prepare dinner for the kids" Nancy changed topic and walks out from the classroom.

Seeing Nancy dashed out in jealousy, Randy sheepishly smiled and laughed to himself.

At the dining hall…

"Lucy-jie! Let me help you bring this food over" Nancy took the plates of food and place it on the table for the kids.

"Children! Dinners ready!" Randy called out the kids for dinner and everyone ran to the dinning hall.

Nancy was quite quiet at tonights dinner.

One of the kid asked Nancy "Jie jie are you okay?"

Nancy forced herself to smile "Yup jie jie is fine! Eat more, eat more"

Randy stares at her and starts to feel bad for making her feel jealous.

"Lucy-jie, I'm done with dinner. I'll go and get some rest" Nancy whispered to Lucy, placed her plates away and went out to get some fresh air and bringing out soft drink with her.

She sat at the bench of the mini park and stares at the sky as there were so many stars that night.

While starring at the stars, her memories with Randy starts to flashback into her mind. She hugs both her legs and start sighing.
