27 Beneath the mask 

With the sound of the notification bell, all of them took out their phones immediately and began to check it out and a slight glimpse of that notification amazed them so much to raise their eyes in shock to the forehead by wide opened.

"Hey, Ophelia…", Oliver immediately held his phone in front of Ophelia's face wearing an expression as if he had just seen a ghost popping out from his phone.

"I saw it already, Oliver.", said Ophelia while being lost with reading the new post wearing an anxious expression.

"Oh no!!! What about others???", exclaimed Oliver with a face full of fear and anxiety while standing half up from his seat by jumping to check the expressions of everyone around them.

Both Ophelia and Oliver immediately took a peek at other students in the bus and fortunately none of them was checking the forum as they were busy with other things like chatting with one another or hanging out with the seniors vs the juniors.

"Phew. Thank god.", said Oliver while sliding down to sit back comfortably in his seat like a snake with a sigh of relief by closing his eyes.

"Do you have other's phone numbers???", asked out Oliver rashly turning to Ophelia with a serious expression.

"Of course, but why???", questioned Ophelia confusedly who was a bit slow to understand things and situations sometimes after seeing Oliver wearing such a serious expression while asking out about other's phone numbers out of the blue.

"Call them now because we should inform them about this post and also to check whether they have seen it or not.", said out Oliver while pointing towards her phone.

"Okay, I will call Scarlet because Aurora doesn't have the forum in her phone. You know that she is a bookworm.", said Ophelia while trying to connect her call with Scarlet.

"Sure, go ahead.", said Oliver while resting his head back with his seat wearing a tensed expression.

Ophelia called Scarlet immediately and got to know that she had already seen the post with the ones who were with her and currently Madison, Abigail and Emily were watching it again to try their best to dig out the source of that post while following Scarlet from behind as she was rushing back to Aurora by running the whole way to let her know about that post.

Scarlet was a good runner. So it didn't take much time for her to catch up Aurora who was about to enter her home route from running backwards after heading almost half of the road to their homes and then Scarlet showed her the post immediately without wasting time while huffing and panting to gasp the breath where Emily, Abigail and Madison who were following her were crawling down in the tiredness after running such a long way.

Right at the moment when Aurora was reading the post, she got a call from Chole who was already in too much shock to see that post and was in a rush to share it with her. So, Aurora rest assured her that she was reading it with others where Chole chose to stay on the line until they hit upon a plan to deal with that mess.

After reading that post all of them were frustrated to hell while looking at their phones continuously and thinking about a way to handle the situation when they got another call from Oliver and Emily who was tensed and couldn't join them to find a solution as they couldn't get out of the running bus.

Nathan was doing his daily duty of enjoying the view of Aurora heading home secretly while sitting in the same Maybach Exelero that he had been using from the day one, but the sudden return back of her friends and they being the too busy body and frustrated with their phones somehow caught his attention as their weird behaviours while busy carrying and eyeing on their phones worriedly was giving out the signs of some major issue.

As a result, he took out his phone that he was hiding well inside his school bag and entered the link given by Oliver as his instincts were telling him again and again that what they were bothering about had a connection with that gossiping site.

And as expected before he got into that site properly the notification from that page popped out with a new post. Nathan checked out the notification and got to see the post that blew up the heads of them to be drained out by tension and the worries.

The post was about Nathan and it was said in it, "The new genius of grade 10 from XKG is mainly a dropped out who failed until he was older enough to be kicked out of his previous school. He is just a pretty face and a noner who doesn't deserve the title of genius or to be compared with the rest of the toppers of the school. Never judge a book by its cover and who can't do the sums and lessons with a fast speed that one has been doing for serval times and years. It's so unfair for the students of grade 10 to have a classmate like him to deal with who is much older than them as naturally due to his overage he is so mature and smart than the others of the same class. The fame the praises and the attention he is receiving, does he deserve them, is he worthy of all that??? We need answers and justice against such an unfair act of the authority for enrolling such kind of scheme student."

"Interesting.", Nathan chuckled after having a look at the post.

"So, little kitty and her gang members were worrying about me for the whole time. Now the things making sense, the hanging out with Oliver during the lunch break and the little kitty's sudden approaches during the class time that too without any objections, all that was because of their wanting to keep me safe.", Nathan took a look at the view of troubled Aurora and her friends where a slight smile was blooming on the corners of his lips.

"But the thing is that do they really think that I am so naïve and weak to be bowed down because of such baseless and stupid posts???", Nathan slight smile turned into an expression of curiosity that diving deep into his thoughts.

"If they are thinking so then that means I am successful in pulling out my character well.", he smirked slyly by fixing his gazes on Aurora and her friends whose faces were full of worries and frustration while still being busy and struggling to find a way to deal with it.

"Let's see what this post will turn out to be and how many more like this will come out and how far those silly things are going to continue. I am more curious to see what will that Lucas pull out more to hunt me down.", Nathan who already knew that it was just a dirty trick of Lucas and Travis scrolled down the screen of his phone while being occupied with his thoughts as to where Lucas's wanted to make Nathan worried over such a post, Nathan was enjoying it and was excited to discover something more like that.

From the view count of that post it was clear to Nathan that without him, Aurora and her friends along with maybe Oliver and the one who post it till then none had viewed that post as it was somehow the rush hour for all of the students as all of them were busy with heading for their homes where some were busy in attending to extra lessons and the evening study sections.

But the heavy atmosphere that was existing among all of them developed one more stage denser with another popping sound of notification bell from that page in the blink of eyes.

"Ting… Ting… Ting…"

"Hey, guys another notification bell.", Aurora and the rest exclaimed anxiously while gathering to a circle.

"I and Ophelia is going to check it immediately." said Oliver rashly from the other side of the call who was still connected with them through Ophelia's phone while Ophelia was holding the phone for him and peeking to the screen of his phone to keep a continuous track on those posts.

"We are on it too.", said Emily hurriedly while focusing on the notification and trying to open it.

"Aurora, did you get any clue???", asked out Chole who was still worriedly waiting on the other side of her call with Aurora.

"I am trying to know the details about the user of this account yet it's quite difficult to rat him or her out but as far as I have observed it, this account seems to be a fake one or it's of a user who is using it to target Nathan without login into his or her own real account because the posting style of this id is making it clear that it has been only used to defame or spreading rumours, gossips or bad-mouthing the most of the students from time to time, unlike other accounts. As the students love gossiping and rumour this account has become one of the most followed accounts on the forum. And most importantly I have a doubt that it's Lucas. I don't know but possible. That's what I can dig out so far. What about you Scarlet???", replied Aurora while trying her best to know more about that user who was publishing the post of Nathan as her instinct was continuously indicating it to be Lucas where her eyes were so focused to the screen of her phone with a serious expression with a hidden mark of doubtfulness.

"So far the view count shows that we are the only one who has viewed this post but the thing is that there are more three extra views but I am not sure about one as maybe like what Aurora said if we count the publisher is Lucas then it also involves that booty licker Travis. So, in that sense, two out of those extra three are obviously them but the other one, I think it's is a new one and maybe someone else.", said Scarlet while trying to dig more deep down into that user's account where Abigail and Madison were helping them by being the mobile phone holder of Aurora and Scarlet to talk with Oliver, Ophelia and Chole as Aurora and Scarlet were using Abigail and Madison's phones to hunt down the user.

"Let's dig into the new post first. Maybe it can give us a clue or confirmation of the user being Lucas or Travis.", said Oliver in a serious voice which had a deep hatred hidden in it for Lucas and Travis where Scarlet and Aurora said out in a serious voice, "Let's do it together." And Emily who was thinking for a solution for a long time said out slyly, "If we can't do anything, at last, let's do the mass report about this post and the account."

"But we will need more accounts.", said Aurora worriedly where Scarlet replied confidently with a sly smirk, "We are not that naive or innocent to have just an account. If Lucas and Travis can carry multiple, why can't we??? Moreover, most of the users in this site have two to three accounts for each because they barely use their original accounts to read and comment on those gossiping post as none wants to make anyone their enemy by doing so. So, we can easily take it down with our ones."

"Okay then, let's get down to the serious business.", said all of them together full spiritedly.

Meanwhile, Nathan who was also wondering about the new post got into the post before Aurora and others.

"Another post. Isn't it a bit fast???", Nathan chuckled where a doubtfulness took over his face secretly while the post was taking time to load as an unknown bitterness and anxiousness were surrounding him with a bad feeling regarding that post.
