19 Yet, into another gossip!

I give him a neutral smile at suddenly remembering Robert's advice.

"He is a bit of a clean freak."

Robert wasn't wrong.

We soon arrived outside my apartment.

The driver parked the limo and came around to the outside of Prince Elijah's side and lifted the door open.

I attempted to open my side of the door but failed miserably as I was clueless about how, and everything looked so complicated.

"Wait here, I'll open it for you."

Noticing my struggle prince Elijah stepped outside and came over to my side to open the door. As he was doing so I could clearly see the surprise written all over the driver's face.

"Thank you, Your Highness." I politely say at his offered hand and put my right hand over his.

I then step outside with his help and give him a slight bow.

He nods.

At that moment other sports car parks behind us in the subway.

Robert and Rebecca step out from there and walk over to us but she stops after noticing the man beside me.

"Oh my gosh."

"Good evening, your highness."

She quickly says. Flustered. And bows to him.

"Good evening, Miss Hayley's friend." He acknowledges her, to which Rebecca's expression says she is flying to the moon at this very moment.

Her eyes land on another priceless beauty,

"No way! This is…" She gasps as she examines it by circling the limo a few times.

"I'm glad you like it." Prince Elijah says before turning to me.

"We will take our leave now. Stay safe."

He swiftly turns around and gets settled inside the limo while his driver drives away.

Robert follows suit and finally, it's just the two of us.

"Do you realize how lucky you are to be riding in an unreleased limo?!" She excitedly exclaims next to me as we head inside our apartment.

I nod with the same enthusiasm as her.

After a full night's peaceful sleep and no nightmares to keep me up, I look out my window at the bright Sunday Morning sun with a content heart.

And since the Cinderella drama is over I feel lightweight and at peace while I freshen up for the day.

I wake Rebecca up and we both go on our usual Sunday run. Now that everything's back to normal I didn't have to worry about being discovered and could happily enjoy being outside.

As usual, we meet our acquaintances along the way and make small conversations as we move forward. We then return after our one hour run.

I blissfully prepare a simple breakfast for both me and Rebecca. Toast and butter with some milk.

But our perfect Sunday morning is again disturbed by the gossip article that Rebecca just brought in from the mailbox.

The big bold front headline read:

"PRINCE KOLE'S LUCKY CINDERELLA IS A HOTEL'S MAID?"

With prince Kole's handsome face underneath.

I quickly scanned the article with numerous false facts.

One of their sections mentioned the prince dancing with the maid, their intimate kiss, and all the other nonsense they came up with.

On the left gossip, the box had multiple opinions.

"Awe, real-life Cinderella."

"Nooo...Prince Kole is mine!"

"I'm happy he finally found a good girl."

"She must be a gold digger!"

"She must have some rich benefits! How else would a maid enter such an expensive ball for the wealthy!"

"I ship them!"

"My new favourite celebrity couple!"

"Girls, we have to work hard to get his attention next time!"

My head felt hazed after reading all the gossip after a while.

At the bottom of the page was what was shocking.

It was plastered with an image of Prince Kole kissing my left cheek.

Thank god it was just my backside that was exposed in the camera but prince Kole's face was clearly visible.

No wonder the gossip, the maids uniform I was wearing was clearly visible.

After thinking clearly I came to realize this image won't implicit me in any way because I'm obviously not the hotel's maid and it's very unlikely I would be going back there anytime soon.

Since I have no connection to the hotel I could rest peacefully and carry on with my life as normal as possible.
