11 The true CEO.

"I would like to invite my best friend on stage. Our true CEO."

Sky finished off his little speech with a satisfied smile.

The blonde girl "Candice" looked up lustfully on stage, almost regretting breaking up with such a handsome man. But she then remembered how every time he would come begging. Begging her to come back and spoiling her like a princess.

Noticing her friend's gaze, the brunette looked towards it.

"Don't worry. Just give him a signal, he'll come running back to you." The brunette whispered.

She gave a little wave, which the man on the stage seemed to catch. He gave her a slight smile, which was all she needed to make him come running back.

The room suddenly descended into a silent buzz. The guests excitedly murmured amongst themselves, not being able to contain their curiosity amongst themselves.

The stage light flashed on, revealing another tall man wearing an identical suit walking towards the stage. It made him the center of everyone's attention. He faced the guests and waved. He carried a playful smile with him as he gracefully walked towards Sky. The stage light stopped on the two.

They hugged each other and gave a bow towards the guests who were patiently waiting for the masked man to reveal his face.

They looked like identical twins and if one didn't look at their faces they could easily be mistaken for being one.

Throughout this short encounter, the guests remained extremely quiet. Quiet enough that one could hear a single pin drop.

He slowly took his mask off revealing one of the most handsome faces.

The whole room gasped in shock, the ladies remained lovestruck to the point they could faint anytime soon. Everyone's eyes landed on him in awe.

It was none other than "Prince Kole" the Youngest 2nd Prince of X country. Although he didn't have a face as defined and godlike as Prince Elijah but no one can disagree that he was a good - looking man. His good looks could even compare to greek gods, both Prince Kole and Sky.

But what everyone was more shocked about was the fact that a notorious playboy could be the hidden mysterious CEO who took the fashion world by storm. Everyone's respect for him grew in their hearts, only today he looked like the real brother of the Country's Prince Charming Prince Elijah.

Prince Kole took the microphone and walked forward, while all the ladies remained drooling over his dazzling face.

"This brand is my passion and what I love to do. That will never change. I have grown up feeling support and cared for by everyone around me. This brand was a chance for me to create something magical and it wouldn't have been possible without all my supporters and especially my best friend "Sky". Thank you all for the love and happiness that I had hoped for all my life. The name "Heavenly Elegance" represents our natural beauty and grace. It doesn't differentiate anyone because we are all heavenly elegant."

After his short speech, all the ladies present took their mask off revealing their perfect faces for the Prince.

Cheers and a big round of applause filled the room and everyone moved up towards the stage to congratulate Prince Kole and Sky.

Many Higher up guests and ladies surrounded them and some even asked whether Price Elijah was present today.

To which, they replied with "Maybe".

Though Prince Kole was content, the person he wanted most wasn't here to congratulate him. He darted his eyes around the hall full of guests and he finally found the person at the back, who seemed to be walking towards the exit. He felt a slight pang but chose to ignore it for now and enjoy the company around him but he still kept watch on that person.

"Wait till tomorrow Prince."

"Yes."

Prince Kole replied to Sky. Contentedly.

*

"Aww, they are so handsome."

"I wish I could meet them, if only they weren't surrounded by so many girls."

Rebecca murmured.

"Prince Kole seems different from what the article portrays him to be." I said but how would I know his character from his 2 minutes speech.

"Yes.." Rebecca said dreamily.

"Alright, let's go."

"Ok," Rebecca replied

And we both walked towards the exit but were stopped again.

This time by the earlier man in the black mask and his friend who had disturbed our dance.

"I was looking forward to our second dance but unfortunately I was caught up in some matter.

The masked man apologized.

Straight after, his friend spoke.

"It was my fault, I apologize for my earlier rude action."

I laughed a little before replying back.

"Don't worry about it. I understand."

"Would you two like a ride." The masked man's friend asked.

"It's alright, our ride's already here. Thank you for the offer."

Rebecca answered and pulled me along with her.

"We'll take our leave now."

I politely said before following her.

"Alright, but remember our promise of a second dance." The masked man said seriously with a hint of a smile.

I could feel his gaze following me but instead of turning around, I followed alongside Rebecca.

Once we were inside the lima I finally asked Rebecca what I had in my mind.

"They seem very posh and respectful, don't you think. Is that how all the upperclassmen act?"

"Ignorance is bliss."

"So is it a yes or a no?"

"We'll cross the bridge when we get there."

"Can you stop talking in circles!"

"Aw Hayls. Did you fall in love tonight?"

I gave her a glare and so she stopped.

"Well, if you find the right one. But be careful, most of them are cruel human beings."

She said seriously this time.

"Alright, but I don't need to worry about that. I don't want a rich man."

"Yes, we'll just live together. Single forever squad!"

We joked all the way to our apartment. I felt warm inside, something I hadn't felt in a very long time.

Tonight I'll sleep peacefully.

Hayley had no idea what storm was brewing without her knowledge.
