14 Surprise Encounter!

But what welcomed us was not a voice that belonged to a man but rather a woman.

"Come in."

"Could that be Prince Kole's girlfriend?"

I quietly asked Rebecca and to which even she seemed in shock.

"I don't think so, Chi brother's said he should be alone."

Rebecca answered back.

"Alright, let's go in and find out."

We carried along with our cleaning supplies and entered the gigantic and absolutely breathtaking suite but what faced us was not at all amused.

"Just take that thing away immediately, it's making me sick and clean this room!"

She screamed at us.

She was a beautiful lady, with luscious blonde hair just like Rebecca's and a slender figure but her temperament, not so much.

"Right away ma'am."

We quickly answer and start taking the daffodil outside as quickly as possible to not cause any more conflict.

Once we were done with taking the flowers out, we immediately started searching for my purse but to no avail.

Then, as if by a cue a man entered the suite. The same extremely handsome man from last night.

"Sky, you're finally here. I've been waiting for you for more than 2 hours."

The same irritated girl sounded as sweet as an angel while speaking to that man.

He lovingly gazed at the girl before turning his attention towards me.

He gave me a slight smile and turned to look at the girl again.

"Candice, Prince Kole is on floor 1 now ready to meet the girl from last night."

"He has surely lost his mind. Why is he looking for someone who can't even afford a proper purse?"

She whined with a pout and to which Sky still affectionately stared at her as she was some rare jewel.

"Too much dog food..blah.."

Rebecca coughed loud enough for them to hear, breaking their lovey-dovey bond.

Sky turned to look at the direction of the sound and when he found the source he widened his eyes in shock before muttering:

Cleaner huh."

With little scoff.

But his eyes lingered on the back of her right hand a little longer.

I followed his gaze to find him staring at her burn scar. The scar from a fire accident that occurred when she was just 10 years old. After going through many plastic surgeries her hand had finally gotten normal with only minor scars left.

"Did you burn your hand?"

He finally asked.

"How can you tell from all the way there?"

Rebecca asked, surprised.

"I have an eye for detail."

He replied and stared at Candice again. His eyes carried a deep appreciation for her, onlookers could see he loved that girl but it might not be love, maybe…

"Hayls, plan B," Rebecca whispered

"One of us will go, tell the prince what's in the purse and bring it home," I whispered back.

"Oh.."

"Why do I suddenly feel so stupid? We should've just followed plan B first." I say while giving Rebecca my accusing stare and to which she gives me a nervous laugh.

"It's okay, today was the best adventure I had with you. We should do this more often." Rebecca happily whispered back like a child.

"Are you stupid?! No, we can't do this anymore. Let's escape from here now."

I tell her and we quietly proceed to exit through the door, leaving the couple behind.

We quietly move towards the door avoiding leftover pieces of a broken vase, which I assume must be the work of Candice. Behind me, I can feel Sky's gaze but he doesn't try to stop us and so I don't turn around.

We breathe a sigh of relief once we reach to open the door and finally leave the heavy environment.

"Alright, I need to find a place to get changed," I say and bring forth my bag.

"Let's go over to the pool area, I'm sure they have a changing room there."

Rebecca informs me and I nod to her.

We head towards the quiet area, hardly giving you the feeling of a swimming pool. Unlike floor one, where the whole area was filled with splashes, chatter, and screams.

"Miss Hayley?"

A gentle voice of a man calls out behind me.

I turn around to face a man I met before. Robert, prince Elijah's butler. I stare at his flushed face with my widened eyes. His hair was a bit disheveled, little droplets of sweat slightly visible in his forehead but his voice still managed to sound as gentle as I remembered.

"Oh...Hello.." I reply back awkwardly.

"Do you work here, Miss Hayley?" He asked without any change in his tone.
